8.5% for 3 years.. i.e. 200 mil x 0.085 or $17 mil per year or 1.4 mil per month or $47,000 per day.. Not open for public   otherwise,  will jump in also.  Can' t get this much by investing in CF.

What JMS said also not baseless, $200millions and it is sold like hot cakes, like BTO flats oversubscribed. The one who bought are rich private bank clients. 

There are many kind of debts. If truly to fund the expansion, rich people are willing to fund them .... Oversubscribed and they have to lower from 8.75 to 8.5%.

I' m if they buy the bonds, they will also invest in the stock. Don' t worry when you are private bank clients, they know what they are doing.

Don' t think I have said things about CF that is baseless.  On the other hand,  I heard people quoting that
CF' s B2 rating was good and the huge debt was acceptable some even claimed that this fish will fly..

This CF is still earning positive.  If they are borrowing money and willing to offer more interest,  there will
be plenty of takers as the rest are less than 7%.    This CF will not go bankrupt on high debt in the shorter terms except only when the weather is not kind to them.
 

The huge debts will be difficult to overcome. There is a Chinese saying that " 债 积 弱 难 返 ,钱 荒 卷 土 来 " .        Also, when CF' s business
depends on weather,  there is also a Chinese saying that " 风 调 雨 顺 可 温 饱 ， 旦 有 天 灾 啃 草 根 " .  Only good to place this counter
in the watchlist.

A lot of 3 to 5 yearCorporate bonds are sold at rates much much less than 8.5%

Geo Energy 3.5 yrs 7%,

Pil 3 yrs 6.25%

Kris Energy 6.25% 06/2017

Trikomsel (indonesia) 7.875% 06/2017

A relatively well known stock like Pac Andes has to put up 8.5%.. originally, it put up 8.75% and lowered it.    The snap up of the inaugural bond is not a blessing at all..

PACIFIC Andes Resources Development' s inaugural Singapore-dollar bond issue sold like hot cakes on Tuesday, in what has become a familiar refrain in the local debt market.
 
The frozen-fish supplier is said to have received orders exceeding S$2 billion for its three-year issue, expected to be around S$200 million, said a source. 

The bonds will be priced at 8.50 per cent, down from an initial 8.75 per cent, the source said. 

Private bank clients again account for the lion' s share of the deal.

What is happening ? The buy @ 0.375 is low but players are hitting 0.38. 

Look like the bb is moving up, little resistance and weak selldown so far.  What is going on ?

The Typhoon of Southern China has wiped off many aquacultural farms which will also affect the demand of the fishmeal although the fishmeal price is stable at the moment.  The actual effect on fishmeal is still not known although it was said the Soya Bean price will be much affected.  Compared to last year,  the fishmeal was slightly better in price but the production and export suffered.

That is a problem, such good market yet china fish still like a dead fish, it already cotnd 5 days low volume, too many negative news to this counters esp the debts,today is last chance to run road ,hope it rebound to 39 for me to run road.

Things just keep looking better and better for the Singapore market, which yesterday powered ahead to its eighth straight session of gains.

C' mon got nothing to do with our posts. BIg boys are the one behind it. We sail with the wind or trend like what JMS said " Equilibrium is positive"  

This time round, the local market was buoyed by regional enthusiasm in the wake of upbeat manufacturing numbers from China.

This report said the soya bean demand that is used to prepare the fishmeal will slow down in China.. what about the Peru Fish Meal?  how bad will it be affected?

We are aware that CF has had very little co-relation with general market indexes.  It parted  differently  with STI in last 2 years as cn be seen from the attached chart.  It is more driven by performance

and the news.  The last peak in 2011 was because of the news about Russian Pollock.  It was a booster but the deal broke thru and this was  faded in the background.    The latest is Copeinca except

it is a differnet kettle of fish.. saddened with $1bln of debts instead of only $300 mil.  The real test is still yet to be seen although in the book of asset,  it looked attractive if one could discount the

financial cost of over $100 mil per year.

Mr. Ng said that the  target was to achieve 75% debt to equity ratio.. that was barely 4 months ago in March 2014 but now they have just raised a $200mil short term bond of 3 years with  rates of

8.5%.    just not  sure why they raise more debt and what' s in their mind and what they   are  selling right now in the  胡 芦 .. 

Anyway,  it is interesting to see how this fish will develop from now on...
