No le, I used the word " possible" in the double top and ascending triangle pattern.
Reason is those two formation hasn' t been confirm yet but just imaginary or in anticipation only at best.
Even the monthly hanging man formation is possible because we still have to wait for month end closing,
what if today it goes down. Therefore the different is I do not speak ahead of the pattern what it is not form.

Btw a technician would know not a single pattern works all the the time by itself, and it has to be use with
other technical tools for better result.

Go to my 22nd August chart, back then I already saw a possible Ascending Right Angle Triangle developing
other than the possible Douple Top that you based your short position on.

wow their algo trading dam fast, when price was 291/292, I put in a 2 lots buy order at 291 just for fun, immediately it throw down to 290. my 2 lots so big meh ...

If I remember correctly the other day you mentioned you bought some at was it 2.90 too to test?
Therefore can share what was your test that you learn and now to short at same price you bought the other.
What has change between those days and now?

I won' t say its a bearish trend(although I used the word bearish divergence as just a term that prices
may u-turn from its underlying upward trend still yet to be confirm, so more like a correction if it drops further,
otherwise prices may just consolidate around current levels till the next decisive move.

For Singtel if one has been riding through those tough time during and after covid, and the fact the its share prices has woken up after many many months I read that as a good sign long term. Of course short term anything can happen as the run up is a lot, nothing wrong to go short for swing trader(people are entitle to do what they want base on their views and experienced). Long term players should not be affected by others who are bearish short term.
Fundamentals(only trick is how much market has priced in) are very important while technicals are good guide(because market are forward looking) if one can use it well.

(For all in this thread-We all can have our views and opinions, market will prove who will be correct so we can' t force our view on anyone).

Yes a double top seems to have formed, but top that can be surpassed in the next three months. That will depend largely on the 1H results. Agree Tiktalk?

Include RSI and MACD on daily chart to see the bearish divergence. I also won' t draw support like this. I will use a horizontal line at 2.83 thereabouts which corresponds to the recent low. Further add in Fib from 2.50 to 3.03 to identify some interim support levels.

Oh btw if you look at RSI the weekly and monthly is overbought, but one thing we do not know how long it
can stay overbought, but also note that the daily RSI is not overbought, and if the daily RSI do turn up again
thats how the weekly and monthly can stay overbought.

Of course the easy part is drawing support/resistance lines..
The difficult part is trading on short term move, buy or sell at current level?
Follow trend to buy dips or counter trade to go short?
Longer term investor is easier, just stay long until some drastic event occur.
