just go to Victoria Center and asked all the shops who sell abalones , especial those Chinese Abalones, then you can verify the " RUMUORS and FACTS" first hand. Asked them if the price of CANNED ABALONES from CHINA has been hitting HISTORICAL LOWEST PRICE in the past 9 months... Asked them if this WORST PRICE WAR in abalone caused by the Chinese farmed abalones ballonning from 12Kmton in 2009 to 120,000 mton in 2012 HAD BEEN THE WORST that Abalone industry had seen in 50 yrs. DO NOT BELIEVE until you do your own verification which is easy. Take a trip to HK - Wing Lok Street ( abalone street ) and ask a few simple quesitons about CHINESE ABALONES prices... FORUM is for sharing of information or rumuor. We do not own or sell or buy Oceanus shares - we have no vested interests other than share what we know. But then, by telling Gambling is bad for you, still thousands punters and RISK TAKERS would still rush to casinos to donate their cash ... |

Abalone farming takes diligent work to show REAL PROFIT... When they showed Net profit higher than their SALES , something fishy like magic show....we predicted the "disappearance/sudden death" of the biological assets back in 2008 n voila it HAPPENNED |

Tdy China farmed abalones are selling at below cost ( even for those very lean and low cost China farm operators - meaning those farms without extra layers of FAT ). Thus hard to imagine Oceanus with over $mio monthly operating costs inclduing heavy financial interests can possibly turn a real profit.. $22 cost per kg selling at $12 per kg can still show a magic profit ? China abalones now selling at below HALF the prices in 2012. If Oceanus could not turn a real profit then, wonder what tricks they have to show profit when their COST ( inclusive of heavy interests ) WENT UP THE ROOF while the market prices for Chinese abalones HIT 6 feet below ground ? |

More financial cowboys than real abalone farmers. More stock game than abalone business. Like the beautiful topless poster girls outside Tsim Sha Tsui Kowloon underground bars that draw unsuspecting horny tourists in and charge $100 for 2 beers served by 40-50 year-old aunties ( topless with sagging breasts ) ha ha ... never lacking in willing and horny tourists who got excited by the " beautiful 18 yrs old poster girls" outside. |

A body with riddled with hundreds of bullet holes, on emergency ward waiting for blood transfusion ? Can we expect such body to combat in the WORST DOG FIGHT ( China abalone industry is facing her HISTORICAL WORST PERIOD with many farms closed or bankcrupt due to LOSSES ) ? This same management could not turn a REAL ( not INCREASED VALUE in BIOLOGICAL ASSET virtual ) profit when they had $Billion YEN in their warchest. |

When there is a black hole, $30mio would last just nano-seconds before disappearing completely into the abyss. Seems like RIGHT HAND gives loan to pay down LEFT HAND ( both hands belong to the same BODY ). The fundamentals are weakening. Management spent 99% of energy looking for the next LOAN ROLLER OVER and 1% on turning the BAD business into profitable. Like those old and terminal patients on life support at the hospital, get extra days of " LIFE" laying in the sick beds waiting for the MIRACLE DRUG to save them. |

KEY TO HER SURVIVAL - $30MILLIONS LOAN that is dearly needed for daily operational expenses. The TERM SHEET expired Oct 27 and no sign of any agreement. Without this LOAN ROLL-OVER, management will be hard pressed to stay afloat. Q3 should be worst than Q2. |

With China anti-corruption, demand will not return anytime soon ... not soon enough to escape the hold of BlackHole. China abalones now selling at below 50% of 2013 peak. 2013 Oceanus LOST $$$$$$$ during 2012-2013 mkt peak ?! Way to " CLIMB OUT" the black hole : Creditors/Warrant holders turn DEBT into SHARES and sell the " SHELL" for back door listing? Find a NEW BUSINESS MODEL that can lower the cost base realistically enough to regain profit ( still takes years to cover previous losses ). FIND REAL PROFESSIONAL with REAL EXPERIENCE in abalone business and not just those financial cowboys. |

Likely the most cost (highest overhead + debt-laden) over-run abalone farm in all of china! no other china farms has more highLy paid CHAIRMAN CFO CEO COO COS(china operation specialist!) ... Competitors farms sell at below OCEANUS COST ptobably still turn a profit with lean -no fat cost structure sans expensive corporate suites in Robinson Center. If no new loan to roll over old debts and pay $millions monthly bills n salaries...then what Lao? Maybe still ideal for back door reverse take over as in HER FORMER SELF. |
