It depends on which angle you look at it. It may mean a difference of 40%.

I think from last Rights issues, Keppel owns more than 60%. Although they have waiver not to have to make a general offer, it is now less than half as 'expensive' for them to take KrisEnergy private. Afterall, KrisEnergy can be profitable at current price level.

Bet on this counter for privatization once they secure the agreement to start working on oil production for Cambodia Block A. Keppel will not show their hand while negotiating with the Cambodian government.

It will be good if KrisEnergy has the foresight to lock in the US$50+ rate for oil sales.

Even if KrisEnergy panic and rush to hedge at US$50 for future sales and risk losing potential of US$60, it it already significantly higher than the last quarter of last year when they sold at US$39.

KrisEnergy sold their oil at ave US$30 last year hitting high of US$39 sold in last quarter. So, they should be able to sell above US$40 for this FY and hence even at current price of US$50, it should remain positive. Wish they can release more operational updates.

Maybe u want to get it to details of the debt? 600million. 330million was deferred to 2022 after the CSE. Another 130million zero coupon owns by keppel corp. Keppel corp owns close to 1 billion warrants that make them pump in 110million if exercised. The company manage to turnard with higher profit however the losses was recorded due to impairment deliberately or really written off just like ezion. If impairment is bad for kris then I guess the 3 banks that have impairment losses is dead too.
