This is part of story telling. Committee in name, Caryle really wants some control before Ng runs wild.
Janine is a shanghainese. though as nails and shrewed. Patrick is only a coco cola salesman.Meet them in person you can tell,
Company Secretary is just part of the ready made package that boardroom offers,
dont read too much into all these, what matters share going up or going down.
You will realised that Caryle made a bad investment. CFish now kicked out of Russia. The last warrant issue must have lots of story behind the doors.

Fitch after studied and assessed the operation of China Fishery, then said " BECAUSE  the agency already expects China Fishery' s Peru operations to eventually be fully integrated and considers Copeinca ASA' s bonds as part of China Fishery' s debts"
It is fair statement because it was reported before yesterday report which excites the sentiment of retail investors.
The proposed amendments will not alter the key business terms, such as the interest rate or maturity date, of the USD250m Copeinca bonds due 2017. Fitch does not see any changes to its view on China Fishery if the proposed indenture changes are adopted because the agency already expects China Fishery' s Peru operations to eventually be fully integrated and considers Copeinca ASA' s bonds as part of China Fishery' s debts
Funds are flowing in, net income is healthy, fish price is up, operation is being integrated, El Niñ o is going away till end of the year, demand is increasing ..... Mother Company is the 12 largest seafood company in the world by revenue. There is room to improve the machinery further ....
Enjoy and watch ...

I think CFish is trying to avoid/save the 4% penalty on early redemption of Copeinca bonds.

Annisa Lee, a credit analyst in Hong Kong at Nomura Holdings Inc., said by phone on Aug. 20. &ldquo The other alternative is for them to call the Copeinca bonds.&rdquo
She did not want to state the obvious, instead said " the other alternative ....   Haiz they are playing their game.
Kao recommends China Fishery bonds because cash flow may improve given the company is getting $242 million in refunds from suppliers. The El Nino weather impact on fish catches is also receding, he said.
China Fishery said in a March 24 statement it had decided not to renew a long-term supply agreement and terminate three others. Under the deal, about $80 million was returned to the company at the end of April and another $162 million will be returned by March 2016, " either in kind as fish or, if mutually agreed, in cash.

http://spendmatters.com/2014/07/14/fish-meal-prices-rise-11-percent-since-beginning-of-2014/
Quota for 2013 was 2.3 mil tons and catch exceeded.    This year  catch is about 70% of 2.53 mil tons 2014 quota which works out to  about 77% of 2013 catch..  There is a shortfall of about 11% to 14% in turn of price volume though not much.. The 3rd Pervian fishmeal output reduced by 30%,  not sure how bad CF will be affected..

Not too bad, Lower catch compensated by price increase. Qtr to 30 June will not be too good as May had bad catch and June will be processed in July,
Still believe that there is no collection enough for the push.32cents will be a goo buy when fear strikes

What has that to do with China Fish?
SLPY69 ( Date: 02-Aug-2014 07:51) Posted:
This is another milestone and Pasific Andes is moving in the right direction. There is going to be a divide between MSC and Non MSC.
Simply put Fish caught in the wild vs Aquaculture or
Organic vs Genetic Modified
When the certification is carried, what do you the price of wild fish going to be ? Higher and Higher ..
Enjoy fishing ....

More and more news are being reported. What' s next ...
Pacific Andes focusing on enhanced traceability for MSC

Pacific Andes International Holdings is set to roll out a traceability redesign project in 2014, allowing it to track any fish product, after matching Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) chain of custody requirements.
The Hong Kong-based group' s traceability systems were initially " redesigned" in 2013 to demonstrate compliance with MSC requirements, the company noted, in its latest sustainability report.
Since then, " traceability, storage and record-keeping systems prove that only seafood from a certified fishery carries the MSC eco-label, and that this fish is kept separate from non-certified fish" , said Pacific Andes, which is the world' s largest producer of pollock fillets, from its vast Hongdao processing complex in Qingdao, China. The plant has capacity to produce 60,000 metric tons of fillets.
The company has since expanded this traceability system and plans to continue to develop it. " While the initial purpose was to fulfill the requirements of the MSC standard, we further expanded this traceability redesign project to all our products," the company states.
This year, the company plans to expand its system to involve a more sophisticated mapping exercise developing further barcoding per species, per area, enabling it to rely fully on an electronic system to map and trace any fish product, it said.
Pink salmon forms 49.1% of Pacific Andes' MSC wild catch supply, while pollock represents 28.4%. Then cod is 16.2%, and chum salmon, haddock, yellowfin sole and black cod make up the remainder.

PACD is not CF only a controlling shareholder.
stockpicker ( Date: 25-Jul-2014 10:23) Posted:
We are aware that CF has had very little co-relation with general market indexes.  It parted  differently  with STI in last 2 years as cn be seen from the attached chart.  It is more driven by performance
and the news.  The last peak in 2011 was because of the news about Russian Pollock.  It was a booster but the deal broke thru and this was  faded in the background.    The latest is Copeinca except
it is a differnet kettle of fish.. saddened with $1bln of debts instead of only $300 mil.  The real test is still yet to be seen although in the book of asset,  it looked attractive if one could discount the
financial cost of over $100 mil per year.
Mr. Ng said that the  target was to achieve 75% debt to equity ratio.. that was barely 4 months ago in March 2014 but now they have just raised a $200mil short term bond of 3 years with  rates of
8.5%.    just not  sure why they raise more debt and what' s in their mind and what they   are  selling right now in the  胡 芦 ..
Anyway,  it is interesting to see how this fish will develop from now on...

Japanese company to build fishmeal plant in Russia
23 Process Management
Japanese company Mitsui is planning to build a fishmeal production plant on the Sakhalin Island in the far east part of Russia.
Negotiations on this project are in the final stage, according to Hiroshi Meguro, CEO of Mitsui & Co Moscow. The preliminary agreement on the project has been signed during a working meeting with the head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries Ilya Shestakov, reported Russian media SoyaNews.
According to representatives of the Japanese companies the project has good prospects and may be launched after 2015. The capacity of the plant will be about 300 tonnes of fishmeal per year. It will be used by the local compound feed producers and other customers.
" We also see great potential in the development of aquaculture in the Russian Far East," said Hiroshi Meguro. " The company is currently engaged in studying the prospects of growing scallops and oysters on Sakhalin, as it sees strong demand for these products both in Russia and Asia." Also, according to Hiroshi Meguro, in Primorsky Krai there are observed suitable conditions for the commercial cultivation of sea urchin.
Russian officials promised that all these projects will have a state support.

Are you sure it is not pump and dump?
stockpicker ( Date: 22-Jul-2014 08:37) Posted:
As usual,  CF is waiting for the 3rd qrt result which is to be announced aound 10   August.     Some are buying up as usual awaiting for surprising results.  Many are waiting sideline for events to happen.    The El-Nino event will affect the result although the refund from the Russian Pollock will help CF going into the red.   However,  there were conflicting reports on the result of the catch so far. Some said the catch in 2014 will be about the same as 2013 and some said terrible results will be expected.   These made guessing works interesting..and therefore,    forumers&rsquo   view differs here.
Technically,  CF investors are taking a wait and see attitude with some investors,  especially the small ones keeping their fingers crossed but the majority are sidelined.   The chart is more following a parabolic projectile showing the result of waiting..CF may be able to take off under the following conditions.
- It much cross the next volume on  price hurdle at 0.385
- It much break the parabolic projectile
To do that,  the coming result must be good having a good outlook,  meaning there will be no El-Nino in the year.

However,  the investors could not wait longer as some of the indicators are showing or reaching over-bought conditions with little momentum forces pushing it at the back. However,  this would change if CF could report a beautiful 3rd qrt.. lets wait..

They must have thought through the whole process and were being advised by the experts before they they go ahead with this proposal.
" The proposed amendment will pave the way for China Fishery to consolidate its Peru operations under its main Peru subsidiary, CFG Peru," said Fitch
What is in the mind of all the bondholders " What' s in it for me ?"
Equilibrium is positive or long. Enjoy ...
