This was what I wrote in one thread...... didn' t know I could write so well...... actually they came from the gangsters' mouth...... I juz repeating them........
Contrary to many novices and newbies thinking, a rates cut not necessarily bad for ALL banks........... banks are different, you got to look at the fundamentals of the banks and how much they are involved in inter bank lending for example......... how much they affect their asset yields or costs of liabilities etc.......... People often forget that in a high interest rate environment, there are negative effects on growth, the number of loans being made may shrink as people fear about their income, business borrow less, and the banks themselves worry about repayment risks as loans with higher interest have higher chances of defaulting.........
Look at the positives of rate cut......... for one , a cut in interest rates will stimulate more economic activity, which will benefit banks.........lower rates make borrowing money cheaper.........This encourages consumer and business spending..........so banks lend more money and make more profits.........
And the fed had been saying they are going to cut rates more times than other times previously.........so this removes the surprise element and risk that will crash the stock market............ there has been so many rounds of speculation on rate cuts, that rate cuts are somewhat priced in.......... u know, if something is expected, it wont move the needle much.......... bank stocks are forward looking, so it really doesnt matter much since short term adverse effects are temporary........ Tio boh?
But one notable positive is that when interest rates go down, the existing loans the bank owns actually become more valuable........and not only they are slow in reducing loans rates, they also quick in paying less to depositors......... and in the long term, if the bank can charge less for a loan, they will have more customers...... . So all,these will negate the smaller margins the cuts perceived to bring.........
Anyway these come from the gangsters , who are not financially trained or not even highly educated, so please as always dyoddd........

Potential descending triangle which is usually bearish. Lower higher on price, higher high on rsi.
If break the bottom support at around $1.37, below $1 is very likely.
I' m getting out from 1.55 to 1.6 if it ever rallies in the short term.

- Singtel announces that it had entered into a strategic partnership with Telkom Indonesia and Indonesian energy company Medco Power for its first data center project in the country.

It is important to note that on the day after it announces its revenue up by 15%, profits up by 77%, its price closed almost 15% up....... surely it is more than the results......more than meets the eyes, so they like to say...
and not much attention was given to the fact that it has increased its cash position by a significant margin, of more than 40%, and more significant is the fact that its cash position is able to cover its borrowings and debts by a country mile....... seldom, you see a company of this size, is so that blardy strong financially...... one more thing, although it was indicated that ah yang will complete another 45% of its deliveries by end FY, black market thinks it is likely to be much more, given its expanded facilities are ready to contribute......... more completed projects mean more realised revenues!
No $5 no sell could be a joke...... it could be higher......

Very simple logic..... if the other non core businesses are contributing significant revenues and profits, and is impactful to the growth of the company, why talk of a spin-off or divestment ?....
I have tried to avoid speaking too much on this...... as the black market like to say, believe or not believe, let the price do the talking........
No $5 no sell, ridiculous or not ridiculous, I couldn' t be bothered.......

Hi route, long time no talk.... I think I posted somewhere that it is unlikely to give an interim ..... the question or request was posted at the AGM, and young Ren responded that he prefers to concentrate on building investment value in the company for shareholders like increasing on the ROE, also he explained there' s a need to preserve cash for the execution of the multitudes of orders....... he hinted when the right time comes, the company may return some of the cash value to shareholders, and there are many ways to do it.....later, from his comments on the importance now to focus on its core shipbuilding business, the market speculates, there may be a possibility of another spin-off.......
A lot of people forget that YZJSH has a lucrative ship leasing and chartering business as well as import and export (of stranded ships, distressed ships, converting of old ships for resale etc)..... it cannot be so coincidental that immediately after young Ren commented that he needs to focus on the core shipbuilding business and rethink of his non core businesss, that YZJFH went to buy some ships to start its ship leasing business..... old Ren, even encouraged shareholders at YZJFH AGM to buy YZJSH shares at that time when it was already considered high at $1.70+++++....... surely old Ren was expecting some major development to happen?....
anyway, as with any gangster story, best is dyodddd......
