Buy any stock with open eyes and not just simply chasing it. I said earlier, beware of those who shouted about the rising of prices, they are likely to wait for you to drive up so tha they can take profit of it.

I don't feel guilty at all. Stock price up down time to time year to year in swing mode.
The first time I shouted starhub to short was 4 dollars, and stated a possible price of 2 dollars in 2015, it hit 2.7-2.8 lowest, now bounce up to 3.1, it is an end ? I won't say the long term downtrend is end, as I said this is a long term downtrend with bull mode bounce, so if 3.1 cannot break, it will resume bear mode. I am quite sure highest of StarHub will be 3.3-3.4 and will be back to retest 2.7-2.8 soon. Whether can hit 2 market decide.
Nobody is God of stock, we only provide our skill in TA and FA, and both provide certain accurate possibility in price movement but overall market decide final movement. |

Based on Q3 esult, I expect CAO to give good result in 2016. Hope to also get better rewards in terms of div and may be bonus issue again.

I suspect some retailers mistaken the buying of the mnanger' s unit holding in this Reit as buying up or take over. I will short it with CFD tomorrow.

Agreed. I don' t think highly of this counter based on the result announcement. Retailers are banging on exponential earning potentials which I am doubtful of it, each sale person only clocked in S$323 in the 3Q. How the sale person survive on this business. All the top line fellows got to push like crazy to meet target.

Look at all the past Q announcements, can see the potential of CAO liao. CAO always given around 1 month notice for the result announcement, the annoucement is expected to be 3rd week of Feb as today already 17.1. Believed the notice will come today or tomorrow.

As past history, Shld be around Valentine's Day or mid Feb.
Dividends expected. More or less will also boost the share price beyond $1.60 or even higher.

FInancially, CDG is not doing badly despite the negative market conditions based on the 3Q result, believed full year should still be alright.

I have been talking it down since 3, I just followed chart movement and share my opinions.
Still long way to go for this stock find strong support like GLP who took 9 months for price to stay above 16-18 before reversal.
Now is only 3 month price stay above 2.4, if you are lucky enough, after another 5 months, price still stay 2.4, you may have reversal, before that happen, price is pressured by the long term downtrend.
Obviously support is 2.4. Now is 2.44-2.45, but doubt if it can support with the situation encountered by the company.

ComfortDelGro has to find out new source of revenue to cover the following down side
1) fierce competition from uber and taxi business in Singapore in a coming downturn economic in Singapore. Poor economic poor taxi calling rate
2) mrt business- taken over by Temasek. lower fare is introduced for public transport after taken over smrt and bring the profit margin much lower. Sbs transit which is still hold by ComfortDelGro under tremendous pressure of not making money under the new policy and eventually surrender their subsidiary sbs transist to Temasek and harm future revenue.
3) new model of bus services is on going in Singapore, no u turn based on recent development.
ComfortDelGro is going through a very tough situation in next few years.
2-2.5 dollars can be easily met and may further down if the company can't find new resource of revenue |

As an investor, I am not too overly concern with Uber & Grab as both are still in cash burning stage, not sure how long those privateinvestors are prepared to continuing pumping cash. For CDG, it' s business is no longer relying on SG market. Am confidence of it' s mangement to run CDG.

The problem of CD or all taxi company in the world is,they have no answer for private car hires now. The penetration rate of uber is only at a relatively small % now, kinda terrifying if they manage to double it in a few years time.
Many old CD drivers are actually holding on to its shares and i hope CD will not be dropping down sharply of course. Else, their retirement plan, will be spoiled.
