It is fair to expect a slight retraction.   If it didn' t, then it is a great news.   So far whenever NCL chiong, it forms a new support line.   Hope this round the same. Anyway if NCL is confident enough to give an interim div, I see more upside to its price.

NCL performance has been superb.   But market is slow to re-rate this gem.   I believe NCL has proven its worth and hope is fund collecting and not BB pushing.   Not many OSV coy come close to NCL' s performace but they trade at a much higher valuation than NCL.   Will is be NCL era? DYDD.

The loan anouncement didn' t mentioned about that 150mil shares.   Anyway, Lyceum should have trust their assessment.   JES got mines, got trees (come free with Monkey somemore) got ships and can tell nice story.   Where on earth to find such wonderful company at a fair price.   Even WB will buy. |

Good work NCL!   It uses a more risky BTS model but mgmt has proved time over time its acute sense of the OSV market.   These recent orders are going to contribute to FY14 so lets sit tight, relax and enjoy the NCL ride. Hope NCL can consider paying an interim dividend.   Anyway, it has load of cash and the CEO just got about 3mil share as rewards. DYDD.

Before the buy-out news, it  was trading between 60-70cts.   If I totally discount any possiblilties of buy-out, I expect the price to fall into that range.   However, you also need to take into account any development that has taken place during this period. DYDD.

Don' t play play hor.   Executive Chairman  Tan Sri Datuk Sir Tiong values this coy at $3.75.   If the acquirer doesn' t offer something decent, why sell? |

QT Vascular Going BIG

I am not surprise with Q1 results.   It is expected to be loss-making for the next two years.   If lucky, they can turn in profit earlier.   However, that is on the basis that they can capture a sizeable market and their product selling like hot cake.   No analysts sell QTV on their bottomline.   It wouldn' t sell. They sell on their potential.   CIMB sell it this way: The story of QT Vascular (QTV) has never been about its turnaround. It is about how a tried-and-tested technology is finding its way back to the physician&rsquo s table, after a breakthrough. It is about how one can participate in the growth of an early-stage medical company with a star-studded cast of expert investors. This is the story of QTV! Damn nice story.   These investors got it at 28cts. These long-term and pre-IPO investors are not sharing their fruit with you since it is not even offered to the public in the first place ie no public got it at 28cts!!!   The closest public gets to is 29cts when they are dumping share to the market on the first 4 days and price plunge from 35cts opening to 29cts.   They are passing risk to the market.   Now they have a huge buffer and low risk.   You have low bufffer and huge risk.   When the 6-month lock-in expires, they will have practically transferred most of the risk to the market and the higher the price goes, the lower their risk gets. Whether this QTV is facebook or Alibaba in the making remains to be seen.   It may be.   It may also be one of the 99% dotcom, bio-med/tech that eventually failed to make it.   What if within these two years, some big coys successfully produced drugs that can combat CAD/PAD.   Two years is a long wait.   Most people knows DOW is at all time high and keep breaking new height.   The market is hanging on a thread.   One break in the weak link will crash the market.   Coy wthout strong cashflow will toh so fast and furious that you will be caught off-guard. For now for me, the risk in investing QTV still overwhelms the reward.   It will take some time for all the latest development to produce results so let see how much risk QTV can reduce in the next few quarters. Anyway, QTV is more of a cornered stock now so anything goes. Just my view.   DYDD.

That' s what causing the sell-down.   All indicators pointing to UMS going up but the people who owns and knows the company decided to par down stake. I don' t think AMAT is after the sort of meagre profit.   Perhaps reducing their vested interest in UMS gave them more room to negotiate a better deal out of UMS in which case it is no a great news to UMS. Well only AMAT knows why.   Now their stake is below 5%, they are free to par down further without having to announce in SGX.   That really put a big ? into people mind. ANyway. not a call to buy/sell/whatsoever.   DYDD.
