looks like Funds are going to.adopt the Bear Market Algo.

Cannot underestimate the determination of the intervention in HKSE.......during lunch break, futures was -1900+.....mkt opens....becomes -1400+. Respect.

Nice. Now we know roughly where we can do bottom fishing....... i will be on the look out for fast and sharp decline (and indication of overshooting) before i bottom fish. Huat Huat to All!

Agree. but it is most likely to be well supported as deep down everyone knows the difference between a retracement and major economical downturn.
the outlook is still rosy, low unemployment rate, record wage rise, massive taxcuts which leave the companies lots of cash flows
the cause of current ' panic' is due to the investors turning to bonds and taking profits from the stock market.
Article from the analyst that predicted the dow jones retracement last month:
" Investors who understand chart analysis have been prepared for this retracement. More importantly, they are prepared for the rebound and continuation of the long-term uptrend. Forget the doom and gloom because here lies opportunity."

I am expecting an overshoot due to the programmed tradings....... and the new inputs to the algorithm of the 10% decline = going into Bear which will trigger another set trading parameters.
