You went to the wrong showroom.....just look at Apac and Propnex rocketing up...u can imageine the packed showroom and flying cheques!!!!! My friends agent all phone engaged as no time even go toilet ..........

Big crowds were spotted at several hot showroom over the weekend. Buyers were seen literally flying their cheques to their agents as they were unable to get inside the showroom. They folded the cheque into paper aeroplane and ' flown' it in to their waiting agents. One  senior citizen agent quipped never seen anything like this in his whole career. The Ministry was alerted of the happening and may send scouts to check the ground in coming weeks to assess if another round of cooling curbs needed. One Hongkong buyer said the latest cooling measures have little impact as 5-10% increase is in his own words " sub sub water" . Some agents concurred as the buying craze is giving them hard time to go toilet as cheques keep pouring in. Ministry assure will be monitoring the situation and if need be implement the appropriate measures.

last sunday i went to 45 Amber Road show house, only 3 or 4
ah neow ah kow viewers . the whole luxury hall look so empty and
the  aircon very cooling ( you guys know the readon )  crying
and about 12 agents hanging around do nothing just play their mobil phone.....
hardly seen this in SG new launch property  sad

- Dismal 2Q18 net loss of $55.6m (2Q17: $5.1m profit) blew estimates out of the water due to lower work volume and loss on sale of a semi-submersible rig. 
- Revenue surged 151% to $1.63b, boosted by delivery of two Borr Drilling jack-ups and sale of West Rigel semi-submersible but excluding these rig sales, revenue would have sunk 12% to $572m.
- Dived into operating loss of $52.6m, reversing from $25.2m profit in 2Q17 as weak volumes in rigs & floaters and offshore platforms was unable to cover overheads and the yard took a $27m hit from the US$500m sale of West Rigel. 
- Despite securing $254m of new contracts, its net order book (excluding Sete Basil drillships) shrank 9.6% q/q to $4.15b. 
- While global E& P spending is picking up, order flow recovery is slow, competition is intense and margins are compressed.
- No interim dividend declared (1H17: 1¢ ). 
- Trades at 1.75x P/B.

​ The key player in Hyflux' s survival/transformation is Maybank,a Malaysian bank. If Hyflux can present a positive scenario going forward it will be in the bank' s interest to allow the company to continue as a going concern. Key benchmarks and objectives must be put in place so that the " new" company do not repeat past mistakes. Let' s not forget Hyflux use to be a profitable company but over expansion and poor cost management led to their present dilemma.

it' s not about using CPF to save a company it' s also save thousands of Hyflux' s employees as well as save the country
i said many times liao , this old cunning fox Dr M want to see SG die hard long ago so if Govt dun rescuse country stratergy company then who will help you ?
TH can use billion funds to invest in other countries why can' t help own country stratergy company ?
