I remember when I bought SIA in the midst of pandemic, most analysts put out sell call for SIA. The worst target price for SIA was $2.60. The same thing is happening for glove counters

So we agree there is a bottom and it will bounce up and you say within a certain range trading. So I will sell then to get out. Waiting for that bounce..so far there is no bounce

There is a bottom.
But after that what will the stock do ???
Will it bounce ?
Yes.
Will it do an UP, UP & AWAY after that ?
If a monkey comes, yes.
Or if Tua Phows come.
If neither, then it will probably dingdong within a narrow range.
Its lidat one, bro.
If the only people doing the buying and selling are retail players, you wont see anything spectacular in the price movement.
To me, the potential upside of this stock after it has found a bottom is not worth risking my capital. But that' s me. To each his own.

Yes I know. There is always a bottom unless the company is bankrupt. I am totally blur the logic of company with cash and stock kept going down. UNLESS you tell me the company is bankrupt. So there should be a bottom right? I am sure you agree..You are saying stock price will stay down for 1 year

Bro investor,

If it is a good blue chip and I cut becoz the market turns against me due to a change in trend, after cutting, I wont buy just yet
based on gutfeel. I buy only when the broader market has turned together. For good blue chips, they do turn together. Which
makes it easier to see whether the market as a whole has turned.

That is for good blue chips.

But if it is RS or any other stock where the MRI report is similar to RS, then after cutting, I wont buy anymore.
I may SHORT if I am in the mood to play from the SHORT side.
But I wont buyback anymore.

The 1st time you cut a big position in RS, if you did not buyback, you would have been alot alot better off, isn' t it?
Maybe also wont lose that 400k if the 1st time you had to cut was when she was much higher.
Your strategy of cut and buyback or dont cut but average down..... works only for good blue chips which are in an uptrend.
Or in the case of an index....Dow Jones.

That is why I average down. Now my cost price is already cheaper than sold price. No reasons to sell anymore. Loss of 400 k considered cut loss. Now I can sell on rebound. No need to wait sky high prices. Isn't this what you will do? Cut loss and buy low

I have a different reason to explain the chart and sentiments. It is all about margin calls and financing.

Top Glove fell the most. I could see it dragged down many other counters as people have to sell to raise money.

When Top Glove already bottomed at 0.75 there is nothing left to sell to raise cash. So the "fat" counter is RS. Therefore RS fell again because funds need to raise cash. Not because of whatever utilisation rate, border opening and wealth tax blah blah blah. Just excuses.

They are just reporting based on sentiments.
Stock goes up because analysts feel confident of their prediction..Stock goes down they change and find some reasons to explain why it goes down.

Now they are not sure themselves

Dear Bro Wavehunter: All I can say from the chart is that when they sell they are quite sure somebody else will sell as well. In other words they kept selling and collect lower. This has been going on the 1 year. I wonder how long more

Wavehunter Bro: The big hands ✋ buying is often unseen. Can be disguised as swelling eg with large sell Q. Typical now seen at 80 cents sell Q. It is to force out sellers

I am sure the short sellers don't believe and will continue to short. They are so use to their methods. Imagine making money by shorting for the past 1 year !!! Don't buy..Let the short sellers play themselves. They have climax too high already and forget how to stop.

This is a very good sign that glove counters have bottomed and ready to rise.

1)  Bottomed out stocks with good earnings are usually good bargain. There will be bargain hunting, especially those people who sold at higher prices suddenly find the share price is so much cheaper.

2) There is a huge short selling presence, short covering will bring up the price if there are less people selling now after such a huge fall.

3) There is a strong negative sentiment, from people who claim they have no interest in the stocks but seems so interested to contribute to the forum. I guest they feel good as they are proven right. But why waste their time here? I am wondering. They sometime post past midnight. Must be thinking about the uninterested stock that they cannot sleep.

4) The rise is usually slow and profit taking along the way, as the poor sentiment make them not believe.

So you are saying RS earn less money this quarter than last quarter. The price of RS is saying it is earning less money this year than last year. Or is it saying it will earn less money next year. So RS profits is dropping. Scratch head..blur ??

On the contrary Wavehunter bro.

I am very well

Even though I lost 400k selling at 0.89 ( you may say cut loss), I managed to buy back all a 0.80 to 0.81

Phew lost 400K of lost less 200K?

Now I am on plan C to buy down. That means as 0.78 breaks, I will be collecting down and down. I will not buy up but collect. Down and down.

So am I the victim?

wavehunter      ( Date: 08-Nov-2021 14:20) Posted:

This is not just for RS but for any stock which has become a falling knife.
Those vested and stuck will be watching their screens like a hawk and the one thing which constantly rings in their minds
is - You Dont Jump, I Wont Jump. And everyone who is holding on hopes that everyone else will Hup Chock and dont jump
no matter what so that the price can hold up. But such a situation usually dont turn out well. Becoz in all certainty, somebody
will jump. And trigger a chain reaction of You Jump, I Jump and the situation quickly degenerate into one of each man for
himself. How do I know ? Becoz I was there myself. Many times some more. But that was a very long time ago. And thank
goodness, I didnt go back there again. Another saying I want to share is - in this type of situation where a stock has become
a falling knife, he who hesitates to throw and is the last to throw, get to throw at the lowest.
I have been saying wait for a bounce to come and go and cut into that bounce.
But NABEH... she is so damn weak...... no bounce at all....smell also cannot smell. Sibeh Chiak Lard. Shake head.

Alot of people kao peh pao bu at Top glove. Here we are safe. My plans are in place. Plan B: buy at 0.80 to 0.81 completed Now Plan C: follow the fall buy as it goes down 795, 785 If 78 breaks follow down all the way. nimble buy. Short sellers keep want to sell to 70 cent. Don't buy from sellers..let them sell down.

I can see that you are so interested in RS as she plays out the Bear as you predicted You would like her to play as you wish. You see her going lower and lower and despite hitting a bottom will remain low with every bounce up as opportunity to short down. Am I correct sir?

Well this is also a strategy

wavehunter      ( Date: 08-Nov-2021 00:51) Posted:

Bro investor,

I can see that you are very devoted to RS.
I wonder why.
In spite of her very bearish price action and in spite of your recent sad experience with this stock, you are still so determined to
stick with her and buy her when she has reached your target BUY price. I wonder what is your expectation of her upside.
In any case, you would have heard of this saying....... " Never hate a stock or fall in love with a stock" .
And I wonder what is the reason why you love this stock.

I see you are purely technical. So nothing about fundamentals. So it's like the Dow futures..Everyday happily going up. Where got crash. Now gloves happily shorting down..Where got rebound. Always lower high and lower lows. Wah. I feel like buying lower and lower now. Perhaps my plan C is neede

I dunno anything about this company and I am not an FA type of person.
I am a price action type of person and from what I have been seeing, her price action is bearish.
Her price action sucks if you are a LONGist but looks interesting if you are looking to SHORT.
For me, the simple question to ask is why invest in this stock when there are so many better ones to choose from.

investor999      ( Date: 07-Nov-2021 22:00) Posted:

Well..it will depend on its future earnings. Frankly I don't know. How many years are there to report earnings or will it start to make losses? Tell me: will this company make losses for many years
