Yes. The trip should take 5 days to 1 week. After that look out for the reports. 1 from Insight, 1 from The Edge and 5 brokering houses also have representatives. Will they sing unifying tune or to each his/her own? Hopefully it is a case of positive hard fact they can' t ignore and they just have to report profits for Sunsine are surging? By then this stock will be on everyone' s radar and it' s something I don' t really like. I like slow and steady one. For hot stock, really have to monitor hard. Look at Centurion and Valuetronics. These 2 I intended to keep super long but in the end have to cut while still in profits becuase after they became hot stocks, the price plunged. Will 800 and sunsine be the next? Just a word of caution.

Coincidence or what? This thread come to live 3 days ago and now trading halt? What could it be? Really going to list a REIT? Some big tenant sign the whole NOL building? Concrete plan for lands in Australia? Halt today chances are we only get to find out on Monday earliest.

x 0 		Momentum should last at least till 3q results and maybe even full year results. Watching closely given the s chip factor though I think corporate governance is sound for this one. Hope it doesn't attract too many speculators.

The actual 2q profit was RMB 60 millions. The projected 3q and 4q profits are RMB 75 millions for each quarter. If the projection is realised, the EPS will be well above SGD 7.1 cents for FY14.

Why this one cannot use CPF to buy? Wanted to re enter today and found out cannot use CPF! Wanted to use CPF because need to reserve live bullets and cannot, sian siah. Bluemont also can use CPF, ridiculous lah.

x 0 		Bought this stock on a whim because of the merger news. So far the most concrete fact is we have to wait 3 months to know more concrete facts! Decided to divest as ordinarily this stock will not meet my criteria anyway. Good luck to those vested. My personal view is the company has to be sold at the end of the day. So maybe patience will pay off!

For those who doesn' t read Chinese, nothing new actually except it boldly claim that the merger of Stats ChipPac and JCET, according to industry sources, is more or less confirmed despite the latter' s announcment that it was unlikely to reach any deal within 3 months.

Amkor（ 艾 克 爾 ） 台 灣 區 總 經 理 梁 明 成 表 示 ， 全 球 封 測 業 持 續 整 併 將 是 趨 勢 ， 彌 補 技 術 不 足 ， 也 可 擴 大 經 濟 規 模 ， 而 艾 克 爾 規 劃 於 2016年 提 高 日 本 J-Device封 測 廠 股 權 至 80%， 將 穩 居 全 球 第 2大 ， 不 讓 矽 品 超 前 。

x 0 		This one is really my defensive stock. They have rental yielding NOL building, City Gate on the way and 4 developments in Australia, among others. Pay small dividend twice a year with low beta so I think it suit me as it complement my other holdings. Of course everyone has different investment strategy, just sharing my view.

yes 100 lots give total of $500 in Aug and Oct this year. definitely better than bank interest but of couse there are better dividend yielding stocks. however, fragrance can be exciting in the next 2 to 3 years and don' t have to keep monitoring it.

In paper profit liao but very small nia. Not too bad consider the plung from 695 to 595. Important lesson: buy must be ready to pick up the shares even if you set out to play contra only. Also, when price plung better stay away from forum because the views expressed would not let you think properly. Now can relax and see the movement, if up, hold for more profit, if down, cut before small profit become no profit.

x 0 		Keep it to yourself even if it's true. Unhealthy to spread 'news' such as this. Like want to influence people to buy like that. I know you mean well but let investors make their move based on their own research. If they do their homework, they would not even be surprised to read what you post because JCET did confirm they are in early/exploratory state with SSC and unlikely to confirm any deal in 3 months. This would imply that talk is still ongoing. If not, can just make annoucent say 'no deal' right now.

unlikely to strike a deal within 3 months but what about after that? Maybe yes maybe no. Maybe that's why you saw JCET people and why it shouldn't be a surprise as both sides could still be talking.

Find it hard to agree with you. So you are saying all the subcon including ASE And TSMC are all doing dirty work ?

I can only agree it' s a tough business after many years in it. Continouus  innovation and investment are necessary. That' s what Stats is doing.

CSM failed to do that which was why the losses were so huge and keep getting bigger. But it still got sold anyway because entry barrier is very high in this industry if one starts from ground zero. Better to buy something to start with.

Stats is different, it is turning the corner now with Apple. I' m holding tight for the next few months. I believe something will happen, my experience tells me....

Do your own analysis and instead of hear say from people who do not understand the industry. It' s your own money.

From the mouths of frens who migrated to GF from Stats, now holding high posts, their reactions are NO way GF will buy stats. Reason is Stats is not only handling the backend business of GF, it is also doing all the dirty works for GF. Dirty, thankless, very thin margin, and highly manual backend works, that is best subcontract out to loss making company like Stats.

you are vested bro? nice volume lately, people buying but not overly hot. just under the radar for collection. q3 results in one month plus time and hopefully price continue to move up slowly and steadily.

x 0 		The company has to be sold, simple. Following this logic, it's clear that the buyers' price is not to the satisfaction of the company, hence, no deal so far. In other words, the company values the company more than whatever offered prices up till now! Shouldn't this be good news to longists? At least that's what is logical. Therefore, I am holding and would scoop more if I can. Longists will lose if sell at a loss now due to uncertainty and uncertainty is what shortists like. Don't fall for it. If got holding power, just hold and see what's the development.
