Don' t think we need to ask him.

Probably can gues

1) noted he used his personal wealth to buy own company. That has started more than a year ago. He is confident his company' s worth.
2) He ,like Mr Lim of Top Glove did not expect his share price to plunge to this low levels. As his intention was not to interfere with the market, he let that be even though his share value plunged so many %
3) As a businessman, he won' t miss an opportunity to buy if he thinks his share price is severely undervalued and market conditions seemed to have bottom.
4) So he is only trying to buy back his shares simply because he feels it is worth more.

wavehunter      ( Date: 16-Dec-2021 20:35) Posted:

Ya, I dont think so too.
Unless he really wants to do charity work and use his personal wealth to bail out small investors.
Then who are we to say as a businessman, he is stupid.
Becoz if the intention is to bail out small investors, then the issue here is not about money anymore,
It is about being charitable, being kind and about doing the noble thing.
But if that is not his intention, if like any other shrewd businessman, charity has no place in the world of business and all
business decisions must be made with the view to maximizing profits or minimizing loss and the decision to take RS private
is no different, then he or his financial advisers would have said let the price drop and drop and drop to the bottom first. Then
buy at rock bottom and trigger the mandatory general offer there and offer a low low price at a small premium above the last
closing price when she is at that bottom. Can save tons of money.
So if it is neither of the above two scenarios, then why is he buying now ?
To be seen to do something ?
To hope to attract the attention of funds ?
To discourage shortists from targeting the stock of his company?
Write to him and ask point blank lah. You have nothing to lose what by asking.
At most is he wont answer.
But if he does answer and he tells you why, then you will not be in doubt anymore.

What is the rule? Why within 6 months. I don't think he wants to delist. Why would he do that?

wavehunter      ( Date: 16-Dec-2021 19:10) Posted:

Thanks Bro Bystander.
And I woudnt be able to answer that anyway.

Bro investor, why not try writing to Mr Wong to ask him what is his plan?
No harm asking what.
At most is he wont reply you only.
Ask him whether he intends to buy until the price is above $1.20.
If by a stroke of miracle he says YES, then if you all are willing to count on that, then just average down until you are below $1.20.
If he keeps his word, then you all Ho Say leow.
If he doesnt, then understand that you will be holding a very big lump of shit.

Not yet.
300k is about 0.02%. So far he has bought about 0.08%. It must be 1% within a 6-month period. That' s why I said 14mil the other day.

Wavehunter Bro: I dis not expect Mr Wong to buy again but he did. And he has 51.24 % of the shares now. What does this mean. Is it mandatory he make an offer for the company?

wavehunter      ( Date: 16-Dec-2021 15:15) Posted:

Unrepentent.
Unremorseful.
Meaning still feel that what they did, ie. all those bad behaviour etc etc..... was right.

Guess only ah: 5.20 is resistance. Have to wait for some favorable news. If look at chart, there is a unseen short seller who is holding the shorts. when ? Don't know

Don't boast lah. You cannot predict the Market. When SIA corrects down it does not go back to the previous low. More like it is finding a support somewhere in between. I guess ( gues only ah) that 4.91 is the support.

Healthcare capacity to be ramped up amid potential COVID-19 Omicron surge in Singapore - CNA (channelnewsasia.com)
This comes as Health Minister Ong Ye Kung warned at a COVID-19 multi-ministry task force press conference on Tuesday of a " potentially big Omicron wave coming our way" .

TigerPlay      ( Date: 16-Dec-2021 08:55) Posted:

I think so far, there are no confirmed cases of Omicron here, only suspected ones. If once got confirmed there should be a scare even though we oredy expected it to come soon, but there should be a knee jack reaction to push SIA down towards 4.80. imho

Fatpanda Bro: Go buy Top Glove. I am putting all my buying limits on top glove now.

fatpanda      ( Date: 16-Dec-2021 11:42) Posted:

Bro,

From the daily charts below, Panda just cannot understand why you did that. Which one is more " sick" ? Obviously. TG!

The only reason yhat Panda can think of, is you are trying to catch the low, buying the weakness. But, the low can be lower....

He is buying to average his market purchases. This is not talking about taking over or delisting. It is market purchases. Right now the share price is cheap because so many people sold them at loss. Imagine we have a few who buy up at cheap price. What will happen? Suddenly people realise their sold shares are not going down anymore. What will happen then?

bystander1965      ( Date: 14-Dec-2021 19:08) Posted:

This is cute. Do u really think he needs to do that?🤪 He owns 7b shares of RS. What he spent was just a very very tiny fraction of the dividend he received. He can buy up to 14mil shares in 6 months. After that he has to make a mandatory take over offer. Possible or not?

And so Mr Wong really bought another 300,000 shares today for $198500, around 0.6617

And so now he had altogether bought 2,002,000 shares at an average cost of $1.09

I think he will buy again tomorrow with the aim to bring his cost price to below $1

On the chart we are going to see the bullish three white soldier

As we have correctly guessed, Mr Wong bought 300,000 shares for $192400.

With the two days of total 600,000 shares, he had bought 54% more shares than he bought in Nov / Dec 2020

His total purchased shares are now 1702000 shares at an average price of $1.17

At this rate, I think he is averaging down his cost, probably to reach below $1.00

I expect him to purchase another 300,000 shares tomorrow

investor999      ( Date: 13-Dec-2021 11:23) Posted:

I worked out Mr Wong's average price of his much earlier purchases was $1.47. The 300000 shares he bought brought his average cost to $1.28. I suspect he is buying again today to average down his costs.

Fact is nobody is able to or want to buy so many shares and hold.

For current share holders to buy and hold is difficult. The most only a few lots.

So if there is some buying an hold from some other parties then will be good.

You have applied a wrong analogy. Glove stocks are not subprime housing loans where there were huge debts.

Glove stocks have are not in debt

2 mins to closing time and many, many pairs of eyes will be on RS to see where she close.
Will she close at the Day High ?
Or Low ?
Or somewhere in-between ?
Say she can close at the Day High. Then well and good.
But that' s not the end of the matter. Coz many people are still stuck.
She must go higher and higher. And must Ka Ka Lai and Bian Khek Khee one...Ka Ka cheong.
Not half way lau hong.
Coz if she bounce alot more and then lau hong and reverse back down, those who were decisive to cut into bounce will be okay.
Those who chased and added late into that bounce will shake head.
