Scoot to step up number of flights to Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei from April 1
From April 1, Scoot will operate more weekly flights from Singapore to South Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
A Scoot spokesperson said the move aims to cater to demand and provide more travel options between the cities.

Reading thru the analysts' comments " the counter is over-valued but due to low volatility ...can be a bull trap."

x 0 		Q4 23/24 definely better than Q4 22/23, based on SIA Operating Results for Jan & Feb 2024 plus Taylor Swift' s March 2024 concerts in Singapore.
The group' s net profit in the first nine months of FY 2023/24 has reached the level of the full-year net profit of the previous fiscal year.
SIA 2023/24 full year net profit definitely reaches a new high.

Feb 24 is also Singapore Air Show that had attracts many delegations to visit Singapore, it will someway enhance Q4 23/24.

At least to date SIA for 9M 23/24 had a net profit 35% more than 9M 22/23 result. Hopefully Q4 23/24 is at least equal to Q4 22/23 if not better. Q4 23/24 can only be at worst, make much lesser than Q4 22/23, it can' t be making a lost in Q4 23/24 unless bad with any black swan event, touch wood.

Termination of China flights to date will only be in force from 1 April 24, it doesn' t affect Q4 23/24 in this situation.

Yes, Let see, we keep our fingers cross.

NEW DELHI, Nov 29 (Reuters) - Indian conglomerate Tata Group is merging Air India with Vistara, its joint venture with Singapore Airlines (SIA), to create a bigger full-service carrier that will strengthen its presence in domestic and international skies.
Autos-to-steel conglomerate Tata will hold 74.9% of the combined entity, while SIA  (SIAL.SI), opens new tab  will own the remaining 25.1%, the Indian group said in a statement on Tuesday.
SIA will invest $252 million into Air India as part of the deal, Tata said, with the pair aiming to complete the merger by March 2024, subject to regulatory approvals including from India' s aviation ministry, central bank and antitrust watchdog.

We are maintaining the nominal dividend at 54 cents per share after the 1- for-10 bonus issue. This signals our commitment to accelerating capital returns to shareholders by permanently raising the ordinary dividend and annual baseline increment by 10%, which amounts to SGD 3 billion over the  next five years. The higher dividends can be priced into long-term shareholder returns. We can increase the pace of capital returns to shareholders given the structurally higher profitability of our franchise and the strong capital buffers we have built. Our current CET 1 ratio of 14.6% is 1.6%pts above the midpoint of our target range of 12.5-13.5%, implying excess capital of SGD 5.9 billion or around SGD 2.00 per share post bonus issue (computed based on the number of issued ordinary shares, excluding treasury shares, as at end 2023). This number may increase post-Basel III reforms effective 1 July 2024. The bonus issue does not rule out the potential for us to return capital through other forms such as special dividends, share buybacks or higher ordinary dividends, and the board will evaluate the options every quarter.
