probably they want to enlarge the company' s size and with just 10.5 cents per right will attract more shareholders to take-up the rights

I couldn' t really understand why Ezra would want to do a right exercise of 2 rights for 1 share @0.105 instead of 1 right for 1 share @ 0.210. Ezra will be collecting the same amount of money.

For 1 right for 1 share, the share price will stay above 0.21, and they will not need to worry about consolidation. For the current exercise, after issuing the additional shares, the current share price could be pressured for certain period due to additional shares, and the company might need to do consolidation.

if $7.00++ nvr sell then waited so long become $0.16 , i doubt anyother 20 years Ezra can go back $8 ....

same for SSE index if one apply Buffett' s theory hold long long don' t sell then SSE down from 5,000 ++ to 3,000 +++ in less than 3 weeks, I think he will squezz Buffett' s LP

As at 25 May 2015, Mr. Lee Kian Soo and Mr. Lionel Lee held ~24.7% of the existing share capital of Ezra. They have undertaken to fully subscribe for the rights issue. The remaining 75.3% will be fully underwritten by Credit Suisse and DBS. Estimated gross and net proceeds of the rights issue are US$150m and US$145.3m, respectively.

Lionel has 1 Farari in Singapore and 2 in US. He has got enough for himself already. He has made his bucks and look after yourself. This Ezra/Emas/Triyards he will sell off to some one and be done with it. You have to look after yourself. Now you see his flagship Constallation is up for sale and it has costed them 650 million using all Karaguni equipments which he called disterssed assets if you remember. Now if he can sell it at half its price he will be lucky.

that' s why i said he' s not a good CEO, never foresee oil weather turn negative and keep invest and invest till cash dry up and take huge amount of loan from visous bank
