Eratat Lifestyle Limited (Eratat) disclosed that it has appointed 15 new distributors with each opening one to two stores across China and that these distributors will commence operations in Jan 2014. We are encouraged by this development as we are starting to see distributorship growth following the opening of the Shanghai office this year. The company is finalizing the locations for self-owned stores in Shanghai and about two to three stores are targeted to commence operations in 1Q 2014.

P/E ratio : 1.5

Book value per share : 47 cents

Net Cash per share : 25 cents

Intrinsic value per share : 28 cents

Share price : 10.6 cents !!!!

actually you look at the overall sales figure in last few years , it is completely alright

the numbers avg around 15,000 units per year from 2009 to 2011 , while 2012 was an exceptional year with more 22,000 units sold

So for 2013 , the figures were back to around 15,000 units . Nothing to be alarmed .

CapitaLand hit over $8 in 2007 . And it had fallen from over $4.20 from a year ago to sub $3 .

Assets had grown tremendously over the years .

And it comes with about 3% yield now.

Seagate announced today a new Ultra Mobile hard drive (HDD), designed exclusively for mobile devices. The storage vendor says the new hard drive, with up to 500GB, will enable tablets to have PC-like storage space, while offering the same reliability as does flash memory.

The Ultra Mobile HDD is integrated with Seagate's Mobile Enablement Kit that includes Seagate's Dynamic Data Driver software technology to address key areas to make it function beyond a standard laptop HDD. These areas include shock management, heat and vibration, and gyroscopic motion. Seagate says all of these have been heavily tested to ensure that the new HDD will " deliver the best experience in a tablet solution

Look at China's interbank interest rate in DEC 2013 :

China's interbank interest rates surged again on Monday despite hefty cash injections last week by the central bank, suggesting money market stress remains as authorities maintain a prudent stance.

The seven-day repurchase-agreement rate -- a benchmark for interbank borrowing costs -- rose to 9.8 percent, the highest since it hit 11.62 percent on June 20 at the peak of China's summer cash crunch that unnerved global markets, according to Dow Jones Newswires.

" The spike in interbank rate indicates that the lack of market confidence has worsened the liquidity crunch," Wendy Chen, a Shanghai-based economist at Nomura Securities, told AFP.

The rates, which serve as funding costs for pricing and investment, have been trending higher recently as the People's Bank of China (PBoC) had refrained from injecting further liquidity through a routine open market operation for two weeks.

i think u meant the warrants can be exercised at 25c. so if at the end of 2 years, the warrants are exercised, the proceeds can be used to redeem the bond.

investors got everything to gain. even if the price is less than 25c, the most they just dont convert. they still get a whopping 12.5pct coupon rate from the bond.

how does eratat stand to gain?

Yes you are right

And does eratat have the ability to redeem back the bonds ?

Yes .. as eratat have more than rmb500 million in cash

The real reason why eratat mgmt work out this bond might be hard for us to fully rationalise

But i think we can trust the panel of expert judges and professionals for selecting eratat as one of the most transparent company, dont we ?

The most unique thing abot eratat's bond is that company can redeem it back anytime within 2 years

And the extra perk for investors are the rights to buy eratat share for a whopping exercise price of 25c

Big boys aint stupid if they got nothing to gain
