Bought at 155 on Monday. Nice to see it trending upward. Intend to buy more if the price is right.

at present, there are only non-rated research reports on them with no brokers/analysts actively promoting it. until the institutional funds come in and take serious positions to anchor the stock as the public float is relatively large. it will encompass all types of shareholders (short-term, traders, value investors). the funds will also be able to push the stock up more aggressively if and when they do bite the investment thesis of the company. |

Added more at 155 on Monday. I like company with no debt and insider buying. I know Glenn Fung reduced his stake but CEO has been increasing his at higher price even after Glenn reduced his. CEO is running the company on daily basis so his action has more weightage in my view. Cautiously adding my stake slowly with long term view.

personally, I think that there is no point speculating in the near term cos this is all market noise. for a company with two business segments - precision engineering generating some $8m core net profit, you are pretty much getting the oil business for free. the upside is the revaluation of the precision engineering business and also when it goes into oil production so its just a matter of time for it to be priced in.
can' t go very wrong with a company trading a ev/ebitda of less than 2 and single digit PE. most if not all of the manufacturing counters have all been rated upwards recently so its just a matter of time for price discovery to set in for this company. |
