Short term oversold. Took profit to enjoy weekend. Next week continue.
Don' t think the present business model of Amazon' s fast delivery at cheaper price can sustain. The present ordinary warehousing, packaging and delivery etc involved no substainable technology. purely based on sheer labour and normal skill sets. May be this is the initial setup to gain foothold in Singapore. Definitely, they will need to show more sustainable ability to continue on with the business.

| Really got to watch out the amazon 2 hours delivery thing . My company paying local courier about $40 per parcel for same day delivery. Can imagine how huge the impact will be after amazon coming in? Not just Singpost , local courier and the retails shop as well. where they got so much monies to hire so many ppl in order to achieve this kind of speed delivery? |

Not a competitor to SingPost also, not Alibaba or Lazada. May be a direct competitor to Lazada' s Redmart but definitely a competitor to all the retail shop such as FairPrice, Giant and other supermarkets. This is because SingPost is offering courier services and Alibaba or Lazada are offering marketplaces for traders to sell their goods. However, their businesses will be somewhat affected if Amazon' s price of goods is equal or cheaper than those traders/OEM who sell their goods in Alibaba' s or Lazada' s marketplace. Don' t quite think the presence of Amazon will threaten the survival of SingPost, Alibaba or Lazada unless Amazon can outsell the traders/OEMs in Alibaba or Lazada.

Competitive pricing will make a difference here. Consumers will end up having more delivery options which is good.
A techie guru will probably create an app (to act as middle man) to show you all available ecommerce options with pricing and their respective surge/demand pricing applied based on timing and locale etc. Seems like a technology trend.

Ok. In the meantime, you can look at Golden Agri. It' s overbought but breakout may mean there' s more to go. Play at own risk.

SingPost Management should release the report to gain shareholder' s trust. It is very irresponsible of SingPost' s Management not to share the information.. they can simply alter the report to hide the sensitive part unless the whole report is so adverse that nothing much can be shared with the sharehold.. disappointed totally.

It is very irresponsible of SingPost' s Management not to share the information.. they can simply alter the report to hide the sensitive part unless the whole report is so adverse that nothing much can be shared with the sharehold.. disappointed totally.
