Anyone know when the financial reporting date?
Hi, will the merged price higher than the last trade price say between the two?

I think same, once the new trust fund form... There will be a new unit price... Example if it is 2 dollars.... Both side cmt n cct holder will be equalvalent by share price.

| With the upcoming merging, is it better to buy CMT or CCT? Thanks. |

Yeah but cmt dropped 3% Thursday even us market up previous day... For no reason, I can see, other than uncertainties by election... Even Merger good news too... Hope cmt recover to at least 2.1 Monday. 😁

Just on a scale of Likelihood and possibility bah...     Might even be status quo pace.       I personally can' t accurately predict the future.   Just make a guess |

We all know that ruling party will win the majority, so why will shares tumble, even if let' s say a few oppositions win for some constituencies?

| Hopefully today got pro-economy, pro-business outcome.   Otherwise next week sg shares might tumble  |

Obviously means P A P gov is pro economy n pro business... It policy focus in business needs such as allowing cheap foreign workers, 100% foreign ownership of company, low corporate tax etc.

There?s no convincing evidence that Singapore?s elections have an impact on the stock market a year after the election was held. In fact, Singapore?s stock market tends to be affected by global events such as the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, the 2002 and 2015 global stock markets correction. Singapore is a small country and has an open economy ? it is easy for other countries to influence Singapore but not the other way round. Hence, our politicians do not have powers to prevent economic and market shocks to Singapore.
Good article .

I' m not sure how elections is related but I' ll check it out.   Anw just a note, elections itself have completely no effect on the stock market, policies do.   Elections is just an event.   Results are just results.
Policies shape the economy over time.
doesn' t matter which party/who makes the policies.   But rather, what the policies are.
