US COMPANY, VAST, IS ONE OF ADDVALUE&rsquo S EXISTING IDRS CUSTOMERS The Board of Directors (the &ldquo Board&rdquo ) of Addvalue Technologies Ltd (the &ldquo Addvalue&rdquo or &ldquo Company&rdquo and together with its subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ) refers to Addvalue&rsquo s press release entitled &ldquo Vast selects Addvalue for Haven-1 Space Station Connectivity&rdquo made on 15 February 2024 in connection with Addvalue&rsquo s IDRS business. The Company hereby announces that Addvalue is no longer constrained by non-disclosure obligations from identifying Vast as a new account for its IDRS solutions. The Company warmly welcomes Vast as a new member to its IDRS community. Vast, a pioneer in space habitation technologies, was founded in 2021 to expand humanity across the solar system with artificial gravity crewed space stations. Their first station, Haven1, is launching in 2025 on a SpaceX Falcon 9 and is expected to be the world&rsquo s first commercial space station. The first crewed expedition, Vast-1, will launch in a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. Dragon and its four-person crew will visit Haven-1 for up to 30 days. Haven-1 provides commercial and government customers with payload opportunities for science, research, and in-space manufacturing. Additionally, the team will perform a Lunar artificial gravity demonstration on Haven-1. Vast is headquartered in Long Beach, CA. The collaboration with Vast is significant as it endorses IDRS to be highly reliable and resilient for manned space mission for the first time since the launch of the IDRS commercial service in 2020. With more than 23 units of the IDRS flight model in the various stages of clients&rsquo launch preparation, at least 16 units are slated to be launched within the next 12 months to 18 months. The Company believes that the IDRS, now with more than a dozen of high-tech clients offering a variety of space-based services in the LEO satellite industry, is truly gaining momentum as a de facto data communication standard for effective LEO satellite constellation management, expeditious mission tasking, and swift responses to situational awareness. Vast selects Addvalue for Haven-1 Space Station Connectivity
SINGAPORE (February 15, 2024) - Vast, a pioneer in space habitation technologies based in Long Beach, California, has selected Addvalue, a leading satellite communications company based in Singapore, to provide radio frequency communications systems for its Haven-1 space station. Vast&rsquo s Haven-1 is scheduled to launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket to low-Earth orbit (LEO) no earlier than August 2025 and is expected to be the world' s first crewed private space station. Vast plans to utilize Inter-satellite Data Relay System (IDRS) transceivers made by Addvalue, which can provide on-demand, real-time connectivity with Haven-1 through the Viasat-Inmarsat ELERA network. This effort will enable Vast' s objectives for robust, redundant, and space-proven critical telemetry links for the Haven-1 space station.
