The estimation is not from me, saw the projection somewhere online. As thing it is now, I am in agreement with the projection of EPS 6 cents, 50% dividend payout which give you 3 cents. However, current weakness in thermal coal price despite the huge upsurge in China import demand was possibly due to the rumour that Adani was disposing his coal storage at a discount of 4% to improve his liquidity and also Europe dumping the coal that was largely not used due to the lack of snow during the winter. Despite of the excess in supply, IC4200 is still trading at a healthy level USD73.50, not too much lower that USD90 in end 2022. Eventually when the oil price recovered and there is a renew interest in coal from other region, thermal coal price will also see improvement, particularly due to the huge surge in demand from China Southern area where the Mongolia and Russia coal transportation cost will be too high as compared to sea shipment from Indonesia. I have also read that China intended to remove the tariff on coal import. Also particularly is the huge cash reserve and what the management is going to do with it as the share price is dragged down by the fact that the coal deposit is left only with abt 6 years worth of production.
