In short, my read is that the restriction that is described applies once you have passed the end of the reporting period i.e. between 30th June and the date the 1H financal statements are released. As far as I can see from a brief read however, there should be no restriction for the period prior to 30th June. I also think it reflects well on Olam to give such a detailed response - I can think of many companies that would just have ignored the email. But that said, I wonder if Olam have accurately interpreted the rules here
