The 2nd largest shareholder in the list is the employee fund of YZJS and the 3rd largest is the shares under SBB! In my wildest dream too. pasttime      ( Date: 20-Feb-2023 22:12) Posted: hope that in the fy report. they also declare a free distributions of the buy back shares to current share holders at 1 free shares for every 20 shares own. in that way the balance of about 75m shares left in treasury can hold as reward for management later. then they can declared another 10 % buy back for next fy to be approved during annual meeting. they can start buy back again to use up the balance of money or hitting limit of shares allow to buy back. if can complete pass 5% or more then next fy can declare another 1 for 20 or better ratio if they have more bb shares. so i wait 3 years 1 get another 3+ shares for every 20 held. net effect is the treasury shares hitting limit problem can be solved. the number shares issue goes back to same as when listed. the buy back can continue without fear of hitting limit. reward long term share holders better. those who want the shares can keep. those no want can sell. share buy back will take care of it. shorts will have a chance to cover.  the turn over volume will continue to be high. by the time after 3 years and boss deliver then the price will have return to a more real level like 70cents+ or more. or at least a dividend or shares with discount also can. i apply for more. my wishful thinking only.

At ~3% gross per quarter (~2.4% net of tax), the temporary loss of income from these NPL is likely estimated at 2.4%*2*762 = ~$37m for the 6 months.

What I saw was lots of collection then ard 7 Feb BBs just offloaded caught many off guard. there was no short selling, just BBs slowly buy buy ramp up up then offload. Normal trading play. Throw all those fundamentals of the company no one is interested, all want to do momentum trading. Not going to speculate what' s the results going to be like because really, YZJF just started its own journey in May last year after   separated from YZJS. For goodness sake it wtill need at least 2 to 3 years to implement all its strategies, it has outlined what it intend to do, chiefly, transforming from DI to other investments such as family wealth management, maritime fund and to invest outside China 50/50 ratio etc. What we do know now is that while it is focusing on growing the company, it has committed to pay minimum 40% of eps as dividends. Some commented that SBB stopoed but it would be reckless to keep buying back share without strategy. As it is now, the share price has kind of ' stabilised' , no point keep buying back shares knowing that short sellers are waiting for price to move up and whack it down. Let them short and let genuine investors pick up shares at cheap price and when the time come if years after years good profits with good dividends, the market will take care of the short sellers and share prices naturally.  What else we want? Share price shoot up to $1 straightaway? Have to wait lah, in the short term the issue is their NPL, whehter can write back or not eventually is crucial. Given that all the loans were secured with collateral (up to 3 times), it would be resonable to conclue that at least 70-80% of NPL is recoverable. Not only that, the NPL may not be NPL after all because the moment debtor did' t pay beyond due date YZJF will classify it as NPL. Now, how many times have we missed paying bills for whatever reasons other than unable to pay? Maybe forgot, maybe purposely want to delay payment, maybe fund delayed elsewhere etc. Personally I have missed a few bills by due date here and there but I have never defaulted any payment. The point is, we can do either one of two things, be patient or sell now.

It no longer matters that the price move up and down, the immediate focus is whether how much dividends they will pay and whether it is sustainable. This, we can find out soon enough and don?t have to wait too long. Then we shall decide the next move. YZJF is young, it?s in the process of transforming strategies, it needs time but if the transformation is successful, it can scale up very fast since it does not require a lot of capex, if at all. All profits ought to be reinvested or pay out as dividends instead of building factories, buying equipment, replacing machineries etc. For SBB. Ren making that stmt is to show his commitment that even if SBB mandate met, he will buy in personal capacity. I think perhaps the management is also surprised that the price maintained even with ceasing of SBB.
