x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	My general input is try to exclude 2021 and 2022 dividend into forecast because of Covid year which is extraordinary period. We should use 2020, 2023, 2024 as a guidance instead, if RS can still provide a dividend yield of 7% and above yearly, i think it is still consider a quality dividend stock.

Riverstone is one of the latter. Know their business and their propsect. Look at the performance of company over the many years in business. Take note of their dividend payout record and policy. For this year' s dividend payment (24 sens or about 7.27 cents), the yield is easily above 7%. At the current share price of $0.985, the yield is about 7.38. I have been holding on to RS for a long time in my SRS account and this is much, much better than keeping in FD. So if you have money to invest for the long term, RS is definitely something you like to have. Don' t have to be unduly concerned about the daily price fluctuation. Just my views only.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Nope, RS is not a beast nor has past its prime. Just take a look at the latest financial results and dividend payment. It is just that BBs are not yet keen to move this. The time will come ...as mentioned by some folks here. For me, holding on to a few lots for dividend...another 8 sens coming soon. On Riverstone,  On 21 February 2025, Riverstone Holdings Limited (&ldquo RS&rdquo ) announced their full year result for FY2024. Noted from the previous quarter, their earnings per share is lower than the dividend paid out in the calendar year 2024. For the last three months before financial year end, there seems to be a slowdown in their financial performance. The total cash flow from operations is also insufficient, and RS saw a decrease in cash balances during the year. While RS had seen a better year in FY2024 as compared to the previous financial year, investors will need to monitor if there are further cuts to the dividend payout over the next few quarters. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	XD should only bring down the share price by about 1 cents, now it has dropped 3 cents from yesterday' s closing of 96 cents. The price movement of RS (and for that matter, our entire SGX)  is not rational. It is controlled by BBs. shortists. Despite good performance, high dividend and solid business outlook, the price weaken alot today while other shares are not that much affected. Some mentioned that overnight weakness in US market affected our market. But Asia-Pac markets are all moving up. RS is not for trading,  keep for dividend.  Share price will go up if and when BBs so decide. Until then, don' t look at the price every minute. And no need to promote. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Regardless buying CD or XD, doesn' t really matter Weakness also due to US mkt decline overnight which is affecting others as well and not jus RS Also an opportunity to grab cheaper and yield wl  be even more attractive for FY25 if payout ratio is similar or higher than FY24 which opined that it wl be higher due to ramping up of 12 new prodn lines this year with higher profitability. Personally,  am buying more at current prices or lower  while collecting my dividend fm existing holding . Whilst the selling fm concerted effort parties which  also wl be the ones that pushing it up again Patient and shall be rewarded. PDYODD and happy investing
