Thanks you sir for your kind clarifications. I am really very grateful and happy to learn these things from you. I am thinking of designing an algorithm myself, but am at very elementary stage. technically i will yes, it can be done, if they can preset preference. I had done simulation on SAP n Baan program when i m a master scheduler many years back where you can preset 1 situation 2 condition buy material purchasing n production load plan, end of the day need to dicide which to adjust, now can be done by AI, which will give best proposal. All this are logarithm simulation. Now a days AI are far much better. nevertheless, how can it be done, require indepth programers knowledge. anyway, key is know the market, the stock you trade n don' t chase. while, " logarithm" on the run, BB can put in order to muniplate their own robot, that' s their key function. not sure how correct i am, all from reading and mouth of words.

Thanx ssw518, I note you have raised several important points here. First, that robots tend to use what you have called ' trend guide' only. This term can also be described as ' trend following' . Robots ' predict' based on trends. So as you have noted, if more people are buying, they buy. If more sell, then they sell more too. Second, the more advanced robots have features which you have noted such as what you say, " set preference like pricing, trade like accumulation and distribution price." These more advance robots are used by the BBs and they will be hard to beat. And finally, you have noted also that the robots still need monitoring by the fund manager, who, if he does not diligently ' update' his robot, his robot will not perform well. Is that what you have been saying? At least this is what I understand from you. Thank you so much!

Execute buy and hold long term strategy on stocks with good fundamentals will beat almost any robot. For trading, the most important thing is information which we retailers don't have ( at what price and how much the zhng Kay want to accumate or sell ) we can only follow the trend on what they are doing at the moment. Trading is very hard, even bbs will get eaten by the bigger bbs. | ||||

bro, it' s nice of you to start this topic. it' s everywhere less those dead stock. to beat them, you need to be very deep in pocket, cos you will be fighting normal retailer too, cos they will be affected by the " logarithm" , plus seller usually q buyer normally direct price after getting news, resulting more downward presure, that' s why you see more n more retail start to short

from years back there are many ads asking investor to join the so call robot control investment. all you need is 1k -no limit, pick a stock in their portfolio, and system will auto buy / sell for you, you just relax and collect money. My understanding is many lost their capital of investment and were ask to top up to 1k. I heard that tool is good against retail but never the big fund, cos it use trend guide only, more buy, it buy more sell it sell. From what i heard, the program that fund n big boys using have more features that can set preference like pricing, trade like accumlulation and distribution price. One thing for sure, yes you can beat system if the control is lazy n afk or mia. if you guys notice, it only appear in hot shock / speculated stock most of the time. |

Have you ever wondered what those long and big queues for a certain price of a stock could be? Sometimes, these BIG amounts disappear and then reappear every now and then.
