x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Bro Max, I do paper longs and paper shorts in Dow Futures from time to time to test wind direction. For now, it does seem like to go LONG is safer than to go SHORT. And the odds will go up if you patiently wait for a deeper pullback to open a LONG position. But that' s me. .

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	These 2 have a monkey on board. Whether same monkey or different monkey I dunno and it doesnt matter. All that matters is both of them have a monkey in the driver' s seat. Becoz of that, it doesnt matter whether Dow Jones closes UP or DOWN. IT DOESNT MATTER. Becoz the monkey is NET LONG and he will do whatever he needs to do to die die make sure these two stays up or go higher whether Dow closed UP or DOWN. If Dow closes down, do not be surprised at all to see one or both of Ascendas and MIT    opening at a higher price than yesterday' s close. If you do see an intraday pullback, that pullback will, on hindsight be a window for the bravest of traders to jump in on the LONG side to ride on the monkey. So long as the price has not reached the monkey' s target price, it doesnt matter if Dow falls on 2 or even 3 consecutive days. The monkey will defend his turfs and make sure these 2 dont drop, not before he has unloaded. How high will he push these two ? Only he knows. So dont try to read the chart to predict where the top will be. When the monkey is pushing, he wont look at the chart and say the resistance is here or the support is there and then buy or sell accordingly at the support and resistance. As far as the monkey is concerned, the resistance is where he stops buying and the support is where he stops selling. Yes, the monkey dont follow the chart. The monkey draws the chart. So how high he will push Ascendas and MIT in this round of Results cum Dividend play will depend on how many retail players are still chasing the price. For as long as retails are still chasing, the monkey will Fong Phey them and continue to push higher. The higher the price, the more he makes. So why not ? So if you are a braveheart and you want to hitch a ride on this monkey, you have only one task - figure out how much higher you think the monkey will push and wherther that further upside is attractive enough for you to risk capital. And if so, then you go for it and roll the dice. But if wrong, do have a stop loss. All the best.

So when they buy from you to push up the price, it lures some retail players to chase the price for the market maker to sell to. Then what happens to those lots bought by the market maker at higher prices? They already accumulated alot alot when prices were lower. So buying some at higher prices to lure retails to chase the price is okay. Their average price is still low enough for them to unload all their holdings and still make a profit. So when they buy from you, it is to create a false impression of strong demand to induce retails to chase the price for them to sell to. If you match those high volume days with what the market was doing on those days, you will notice that many times, the market hit a short term bottom on those days and bounced after that.
