Don't know what will happen after Fed announcement! wavehunter      ( Date: 17-Sep-2024 12:44) Posted: $3.00 being a round number is a psychological resistance. TA-wise, an area of resistance is present at $3.03 to $3.06 region. In view of FOMC Meeting tomorrow, there is more reason to be bullish and optimistic than to be bearish and pessimistic. Will we see a deep pullback after 3.00 is reached? This will depend on how many short term players there are happy to take profits at 3.00. If you are looking to buy, you will want to hope for a large pool of short term players so that they can depress the price for you to enter lower. But in view of FOMC Meeting tomorrow but we will know only after market close tomorrow and our market will react only on Thu mornng, I wont be surprised if even short term players looking to sell will skip 3.00 to wait for 3.03 to 3.06 to get off the boat with their haul of eggs.  If you are looking to jump OUT first and then jump back IN after the pullback has come and gone, do prepare yourself mentally to buyback higher if your timing is off. Or risk missing the boat. And if you prefer to invest the care-free way, just relax and stay on the boat to watch the show. Because 3.03 to 3.06 is certainly not the last port of call. Not in my humble view. Take a seat at this table if you want more upside. .

And some of you who sold and havent bought back yet and looking to buy may be wondering the same thing. I will answer your doubts not by telling you what you should do but by telling you what I will do if I am looking to buy or looking to buyback. Firstly, I would have already bought some when she was doing the ding-dong at 2.89 to 2.93. Back then, there were lots of opportunities to buy at 2.90/2.91.  Now that she has convincingly broken through the resistance at 2.93, I will add more positions at whatever best prices I can get today. The reason why I am still willing to buy today is because she still has lots of upside to offer. She is not going to stop at 3.00. Or 3.05. Fed is going to cut interest rate tomorrow and again for at least one time if not two in Nov and Dec. There is no FOMC Meeting in Oct, And Fed is going to cut interest rate for the whole of 2025. 2025 is going to be an UP year for Ascendas and other good REITs. So how can it be that this rally will come to an end at 3.05 ??? That' s why for myself, I will still buy at whatever best prices I can get.  But that' s me.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	That' s why I said if sell too early Sibeh Kang Khaw to bring yourself to buyback one. For now I dont have any issue because havent reached my SELL ZONE yet. When she is at 3.18, I will looksee. If I am still on board after that, next Pit Stop I will looksee is 3.25. Wont be so soon though.  Maybe in December. If no have, then 1st Quarter of 2025.
