Between May 14 and 20, Roxy-Pacific Holdings independent director Winston Tan Tien Hin acquired 209,800 shares of the listed company for a consideration of S$68,185. At 32.5 cents per share, the transaction followed his acquisition of 100,000 shares, also at 32.5 cents per share between May 6 and 13 and 50,000 shares at 32 cents per share on May 4.
 
Mr Tan maintains a 0.77 per cent interest in Roxy-Pacific Holdings. He has been a non-executive director of Roxy-Pacific Holdings since December 2006. He was re-designated from the position of non-executive and non-independent director to independent director in January 2012 and was last re-elected as director in April 2018.
 
Mr Tan is also executive chairman of Serrano and non-executive director of Plastoform Holdings. He is also currently the managing director of Winmark Investments Pte Ltd, Corporate Brokers International Pte Ltd and ZhenXing Commercial Consultancy (Shanghai) Co Ltd.

Between May 6 and 13, Roxy-Pacific Holdings independent director Winston Tan Tien Hin acquired 100,000 shares of the listed company for a consideration of S$32,500. At 32.5 cents per share, the transaction followed his acquisition of 50,000 shares at 32.0 cents per share on May 4, and 50,000 shares at 32.5 cents per share on 28 April.
 
Mr Tan maintains a 0.75 per cent in Roxy-Pacific Holdings. He has been a non-executive director since December 2006.
 
He was re-designated from the position of non-executive and non-independent director to independent director in January 2012 and was last re-elected as director in April 2018.
 
Mr Tan is also executive chairman of Serrano and non-executive director of Plastoform Holdings. He is also currently the managing director of Winmark Investments Pte Ltd, Corporate Brokers International Pte Ltd and ZhenXing Commercial Consultancy (Shanghai) Co Ltd.

EPS is 0.59 cents (not 59 cents). Share price currently is 52 cents. Market will also weigh against other financial metrics.

Roxy-Pacific Q1 net profit rises 19% to S$7 million despite fall in revenue MON, MAY 14, 2018 - 6:04 PM PROPERTY and hospitality group Roxy-Pacific Holdings has posted on Monday a 19 per cent increase in first quarter net profit to S$7 million from S$5.9 million in the same period a year ago, because of higher share of results of associates. For the three months ended March 31, revenue tumbled 29 per cent year on year to S$46.4 million. The decrease in revenue was mainly due to lower contribution from the property development and property investment segments, partially offset by higher revenue from hotel ownership segment, the group said. The bottom line was boosted by a 121 per cent increase in the share of results of associates (net of income tax) to S$5.8 million.This was mainly due to fair value gain from 117 Clarence Street in Australia, partially offset by stamp duty incurred for the acquisition of office building at St Kilda Road in Australia, as well as additional tax provision for an associate. The group' s associate company has entered into a heads of agreement to sell 117 Clarence Street. The sale is subject to a due diligence exercise to be carried by the purchaser. Earnings per share increased to 0.59 Singapore cent from 0.50 Singapore cent in the year-ago period. Think AUS May have property gains tax as well - so there will be a haircut. But the cash inflow should be the full 50% profit. They have also made money from Harbour View Gardens so 2018 should be very positive - and please give better dividends!!!

book value was AUD120 million. so at 50% level, gross profit before taxes and fees will be AUD 16.5 mil? a pity that AUD has depreciated by 5% against SGD this year. still, the profit is significant considering that it only made SGD 29.4 million NPAT in 2017. definitely very good for cashflow

Good profit as they bought for $80+m 2 years back, but it?s a 50-50 JV. Should boost the profit for this year depending on the book value. Hopefully special dividend!

Developers' private home sales rise 86.5% to 716 units in March from previous month MON, APR 16, 2018 - 1:04 PM DEVELOPERS sold 716 private homes in March this year - 86.5 per cent higher than the 384 units sold in February 2018 but nearly 60 per cent lower than the 1,780 units in March last year. These figures exclude executive condominium (EC) units, which are a public-private housing hybrid form. Inclusive of ECs, developers moved 788 units last month, again higher than the 476 units in February 2018 but lower than the 2,358 units in March last year. yup. i checked bloomberg, everything has taken place last friday.  goldenfingers- no confusion, price was corrected as the share price will dilute for the 10% bonus issue, else the market cap would have increased significantly |
