Market is not so positive about Lippo, Bond and Perp are priced near to distress level, Bond maturity 2024 (250M USD) and 2026 (200M USD) giveanother challenge to Lippo to refinance the debt. For people having confident with Lippo, maybe Lippo bond abd Perp is the good investment with yield of 10 to 18% |

One of the main reason share price depress is strong sgd against regional currency(USD, hkd, rupiah)...
Once inflation settle down....share price lippo mall will go up. |

Yes n  thank you for highlighting. I am aware of it. I am  also  aware of  the downgrades  froom moody n fitch. However, i feel that the worst is over for Lippo Mall. Things can' t possibly get worse than during the covid days, when shops are or open on restricted hours eyc etc. When u take into consideration, the current price is probably it' s bottom or near bottom. Reports of positive results in terms of bottom line n higher dpu (dividend per unit) may move the share price higher. The assets owned by the company are real tangible assets - buildings and shopping malls. I believe that in the years ahead, these assets will appreciate substantially as can be seen in Vietnam, Singapore n other growing economies in ASEAN. I am taking a long  view on this counter. In the meantime enjoy an excellent yield. I do not foresee further downgrades as its revenue and profits improve. Anyway, I appreciate your highlight on the company' s balance sheet.

MOODY&rsquo S DOWNGRADES LIPPO MALLS INDONESIA RETAIL TRUST&rsquo S RATING TO  B3  FROM B2 LMIRT Management Ltd, the manager of Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust, wishes to announce that Moody&rsquo s Investors Service Moody&rsquo s has downgraded the corporate family rating of LMIR Trust and the backed senior unsecured bond issued by LMIRT Capital Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of LMIR Trust, to B3 from B2. The outlook on all ratings remains negative. The downgrade was triggered by Moody&rsquo s expectations that LMIR Trust&rsquo s rising  refinancing pressure amid a tight funding  environment and uncertainty surrounding the pace of recovery from the pandemic  in an environment of inflation and slower growth. The Manager wishes to highlight that LMIR Trust remains in compliance with its financial covenants and the aggregate leverage limit as prescribed under the Property Funds Appendix. ![]() |
