Cogent&rsquo s 4QFY16 net profit rises 17% to $8.6 million. Meanwhile, we have made good progress on our Jurong Island Chemical Logistics Facility project on Jurong Island as announced on 19 October 2016. As the Group has yet to finalise its capital expenditure, the Board has decided to be prudent and not to recommend dividend for FY2016. On 26 January 2017, the Group announced the signing of a licence agreement with JTC for the use of a 2.5 hectare plot of land at Jurong Island that will be used to construct Jurong Island&rsquo s first fullfledged container depot (&ldquo JICD&rdquo ). The JICD, which is on a 3-year lease, will enable us to grow our container depot capabilities and customer base for our Jurong Island Chemical Logistics Facility. JICD is expected to be fully constructed and operationally ready by 2QFY17. What direction will it take tomorrow? Growth story or no dividend story??? |

Haha, everyday I have to drive past Cogent Hub for lunch some more! See that building I also sian!!! Kidding aside, guess just have to wait for some buying interest again. This counter free float very low. Anytime can spike if got good news (e.g. privatisation, general offer, good performance - special dividend, stock split, etc.).

bro...you see...the thing about maximising your chance for profit is to make sure invest or trade or punt or speculate with a relatively safe margin...' cos you never know when the u-turn comes....so I prefer to bottom pick (but with a upward bias) rather than to buy the stock when it is deep in uptrend....look the chart look at chart...play fundamental must also watch technical...well...I don' t know how to put it...but you know what i mean... When it was 78...remember it already zoomed up from around 50...quite a straight uptrend in a relatively short period...this is dangerous risk reward situation already...i don' t like to buy stock when it is in this type of situation.... but nevermind...over already...lesson learnt...pocket burnt...you still can write here means you still in one piece...still ok...

you know something...I watched this guy for a period already and putting my ammo in standby position....and I was waiting for it to consolidate (for a period also) at around 53 to 55 cts....woah...I guess I waited too long and missed this boat......I like cogent because I like this type of business it is in...more predictable in a bad economic time....well...u never know...maybe I can still get it later....but nevermind for now....move on..move on... |
