Every religion sets their calendar based on the birth of the messanger or the birth of god, buddha, prophet, etc, the day of the new era. 5. Every religion has it' s own doom' s day, judgement day, the day of the return of the god, the future buddha, etc. (Eschatology) Becareful of those who claim they have found the truth. For this one should recognize that even the decision to either refrain from action or withhold assent to a particular choice is, in itself, a choice. Therefore no need to ask other people what your own purpose in life is, the human race will let you know when the time is right and also the time to change direction when due.  It' s just like our own human body. Stem cells can become anybody, but they can' t all become brain cells, some will have to be skin cells, some blood cells but there will always be renegades that just want to become cancer cells. So who calls the shots?  Your sub-conscious has the answer.

When you eat, do you chew, do you swallow. You mean you can do it without being aware? What crisis of consciousness? Go and try to understand the two words...question what you read and don' t quote them. I think you have a bigger problem than spivvy as you warned him to be careful of those who found the truth but you yoursefl made statement that you are going to find it. By the way are you aware what you said is just a dream. You define your own religion...a new name you called `liberalism' which is another sub-branch of humanism. This is the wrong thread...you start a new thread, I can entertain you there. By the way, you don' t bumped into a posting, you search for it and respond to you. You only bump into objects...that' s consciousness in the use of language.

Are we into this world purpose is to suffer right? In every religion, they believe there is a GOD and almost definitely an afterlife. Christians believe that you go to heaven to unite with God. Buddhists also believe in afterlife recarnation. And also banish to hell where u have to suffer for the deeds u have done in our time on Earth. Called Judgement right? Then reborn again. Not sure on other religions. But the concept is that ultimately our time on Earth to experience sufferings is just part of an overall  journey?
