In Q4 FY2015 (May 2015), the fair value gain on investement properrties amounted to S$52m (38% of Profit after tax of S$136m) where gain of S$50m  derived from Westlite Mandai (Lian Beng 51% and Centurion 49%). Refer to Centurion FY2015 (Dec 2015)  results announcment, there is one off write down of S$4.8m on the carrying value of Westlite Mandai. Accordingly, Lian Beng may recorded a fair value loss or much lower  fair value gain in Q4 FY2016 (May 2016). Lian Beng recorded a higher profit after tax of S$77m  for 9 mths period ended Feb 2016 as compared to S$58m for 9 mths period end Feb 2015. However, Lian Beng may recorded a lower fair value gain  or  a fair value loss  in Q4. Lian Beng mostly will recorded higher profit after tax (if excluding fair value changes), but lower profit after tax (if including fair value changes) in FY2016 HazardKoh      ( Date: 29-May-2016 19:38) Posted: u can take  a look at lian beng.. annoucing full year result in july. We are pleased to advise that we have obtained some recent excellent progress in the form of two determinations of the Building Appeals Board, ruling in our favour. These determinations very clearly uphold our position and are a large step towards work recommencing on site. While we are not just yet at the point of continuing demolition works, we are now much closer. Although we are not yet able to confirm exactly when works will recommence, it is clear that it is only a matter of time before we are able to see Tower Melbourne realised. We understand, and share your frustration with these delays to date, however once again we want to take this opportunity to let you know that we are continuing to seek resolution of this issue as soon as possible. With our recent wins in this regard, we will be pressing home our position to obtain a speedy resolution, so that construction works on site may continue.
