i think they wanted to announce it on the auspicious date 288...unless something trigger them to do it earlier than the final deadline...if they could not agree on terms and conditions, they will announce it very fast...so in this case, it is most probably with very good news... win-win-win situation retail shareholders also win...

Vol getting significantly lower everyday. Low vol is v easy to push up when good news finally released soon. No need for a trading halt lah, just go ahead and announce is better. But after the 2 trading halts that happened so near one another, everyone dare not short, also dare not play contra. Which is a blessing, keeps CNMC price stable. |
