my trading strategy is bet for quick price increase or slow and steady increase that can bring me profit eg 5% or more of invested value, and when i see price reverse i will take profits. my strategy is for winning side if the price up up then of course i will hold eg to price target 0.70-0.72 and if happen stock drop more than say 1.5 cents then i will take profit, im not aiming eg at 0.80 level, that' s too faraway for losing side which is the case for now, there are at least 4-5 attempt to breakaway from 0.645-0.655 but everytime it failed. so i have to have a discipline, cut loss at 0.635, hard to say it may retest 0.60 level etc, i can anytime buy back at lower price if i want so the summary is, loss small momey vs win bigger profits. it' s a statistic and probability game and also trader' s senses and experience is very vital

Hi shangli, im actually quite curious how you maintain the discipline to cut loss for such a huge figure, yet at the same time still profitting from the market. Tendency is that people will loon and hold for the chance to crawl back up, or suffer even more loss before finally deciding to cut loss. If your cut loss discipline is so strong and well-thought through, what then is your buying discipline? | ||||

2m shares even for fund managers, they will break into batches when buying ... whereas selling fund managers are known to dump all one shot meaning open position slowly, but close fast ... imagine if you use the above, there should be no need to cut loss, since you would have only bought a few batches only at 65++/-- and there will be some batches from 605, 610, 615, 620 ... for you to take profit |

Why thaibev is a " no cut loss" stock??? Because it sell beer!!! it is a sin biz Even if if kana scandal loss money, someone will come out to buy such biz, just like casino ... so its share price will never go to zero. So you can just set a wide trading range and buy buy sell sell for next 100 years and win back all any loss and more ... Noble? its good traders just ship it left with nothing ... |

nothing is impossible. thaibev can rebound back to eg 0.75 but can go down further to eg 0.55 as well. nobody knows. just like yzj, no one ever believe it can go down more than 50%. if thaibev can go down to 0.58 and i buy back that time, my cost of entry and risk is much more lower man.

if you can hold no need cut lah ... ThaiBev is a " No cut loss" stock ... profitable + growth potential + dividend + selling sin alcohol but has high debt which cause short term weakness can buy buy sell sell but bias towards long ... |
