Those who bought at 8c laughed at those who bought at 20c. As for me, I rather sell, hold cash and see what happens.  SMM is going through uncertain times. Wise to stay out during uncertain time.  There are so many good counters to invest in.  Why SMM? No matter what, opportunity cost is glaring and real. 6. SCM will survive as TH has more to lose than win to let it wither if it does wither. 7. TH more likely to muscle in the nego in the KOM deal now that they are holding 55% 8. Majority of Weak holders had been flushed. 9. DBS is the other underwriter of the rights and hence essentially the percentage of shares floating around is not much now. 10. Green Energy contract beckons. Mark this. 11. Last but not least, there will be no more rights for 2022 at least. And more contracts to be delivered and cashflow accretive.

Group 1...those who bought SCI ard Apr 2020 for $1.50.  They got 4.911 SMM in specie for every SCI share.  Most in Group 1 have already sold their SMM shares and are sitting on cash.  Now they are also enjoying SCI SCI at $2.06.  An envious postion. 2. Group 2. ..those who bought SMM at a high price.  They were elated when they subscribed RI 2020 for 20c.  They were uncertain when they subscribed RI 2021 at 8c.  Now they are stressed, perplexed, in despair and crushed.  They tried to put on a brave front by trying to mock Group 1 investors.  Hilarious! With this Rights issue of $1.5b, another Rights issue next year will never ever happen. More importantly, the Rights issue is finally over, hence Time is no longer on your side. Have been waiting for a long long time for SMM to finally start winning huge contracts but they have been very elusive.  The deeper SMM sinks into financial hardship, the more difficult for it to win the huge contracts that will matter. And without these huge contracts, SMM wil be history soon, regardless of whether it reaches 5 cts or 30 cts in the interim.
