If this egm don' t go through, most likely the share price will drop to below 1.52. However I believe that in order to get shareholder support on the egm, management might give some goodies or reveal the strategic review of the other aspects of the company. Let' s press on and see how the share prices go. Buy Low, sell high . x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Agree - had checked their Annual Report and there is no Temasek ownership in SPH. They are governed by the Newspaper Act so no single shareholder can own more than 5% without the approval of the Minister. This also makes it difficult for them to do any fund raising via the capital market, be it rights issue, placement etc. Think that was one of the reasons they cited as part of this proposed restructuring to have that financial flexibility going forward.  Embargozz      ( Date: 28-Jun-2021 11:31) Posted: SPH is not owned by TH. it is owned majority 88+% by retail investors, which is you and me. SPH have never issue right issue this decade and i dont think it will do that as the company is still cash rich according to reports. My personal take is until the company comes out to share more about the new direction, this stock will likely trade sideways.
