This is why, Ah Chai could still be the person buying up UE share right now. If you were Ah Chai what would you do?    Buy 36% and beg for remaining shares, hv to pay higher price?  Or would you trigger a selldown, buy up as much UE shares at low price as possible, then go back to OCBC for the 36%?

Coupled with the fact that there is a structural issue and MFLEX has been rallying, one can assume Ah Chai will purchase UE whilst a third party might come in just to take out MFLEX

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yup its market cap is big however from a valuation stand point it is trading at a PE of 7 times with almost no debt which makes it attractive. I believe this is the last and major hurdle UE needs to overcome. Don' t get me wrong, I' m not saying  with a 100% certainty that  MFLEX will get taken out. I' m just making an intelligent guess based on facts that is publicly available. x 0   x 1  Alert Admin	Interesting to note that MFLEX has rallied from 15 (the day it open after exclusivity ended) all the way to 18.38 (as of yesterday). This represents a 22.5% rally. If we refer to UE and OCBCs' announcement on 14 Feb, the exclusivity lapsed due to a structural issue which both parties couldn't resolve. This may very well be MFLEX related as C does not want non core asset in UE and perphaps, this rally is indicative of a possible buy out of MFLEX by a 3rd party before C comes in again to buy out UE.
