x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	CIMB Fundamental View Company Flash Note (27 Nov 2018) -  $ThaiBev(Y92.SI)  (Maintain ADD tp $0.88) - 4QFY9/18: A year to forget ■ FY9/18 core net profit of THB21.0bn was just shy of our FY18F estimate (92.1% of THB22.6bn) and consensus (95.8% of THB21.9bn).  ■ The miss was largely due to higher SG& A costs which formed 18.1% of revenue (vs. our 15.8%). Lower interest costs mitigated the bottomline.  ■ A final DPS of THB0.2/share was declared. An analyst briefing will be held this evening we maintain our call and TP.

If there are potentials for growth, analysts will report accordingly. Which bank will want to lose their credibility by anyhow hantam  BUY call? x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	It still made a profit of $77mil for 2018 but is 46% down from last year for a long list of reasons. If you look at their financial statements, to simplify things, total income for 2018 is 232.6mil which is higher than 2017 of 190.7mil. But net profit drops due to very high expenses. Perhaps analysts from OCBC and CIMB study all the fundamentals and conclude with their BUY calls.  Dividend  for this round is THB 0.24 = S$0.01 per share.

Domestic spirits and beer volumes were down 12% and 11% YoY respectively. We continue to be wary of domestic economic weakness and the dampening effect of the increase in excise tax, which we had previously underestimated. Nonetheless, valuations continue to be attractive with ThaiBev trading at an FY19F P/E of 15.7x (Bloomberg consensus) as at 26 Nov&rsquo s close, more than 1 standard deviation below its 5-year mean and close to its 5y trough of 14.7x. After adjustments, our fair value decreases from S$0.89 to S$0.85.  Maintain BUY with a fair value estimate of S$0.85.  Source OCBC

(&ldquo Koykiao&rdquo ), a 51-49 joint venture company between Food of Asia Co., Ltd. (&ldquo FOA&rdquo ), a directly wholly owned subsidiary of THBEV, and Kepdokmai Ruamton Company Limited (&ldquo Kepdokmai Ruamton&rdquo ), which is a third party company, has completed the increase in the registered capital of Baht 5,000,000 consisting of 500,000 ordinary shares with an initial called up capital of Baht 10 per share" This is good and positive.
