I wont be surprised to see the gloves companies trending back up from here as it is oversold sold based on both chart and FA. The risk reward is in the longists favor for those who want hold at this level (NOT STUCK). The shorts can get burnt when price gap up. I am looking at 14c to 15c dividends (full year 17c to18c) to be announced in the year end results. With the last qtr affected by gov MCO and labour restrictions, i believe the next qtr results will be better and be more rosy. All the good stocks in STI which are doing well - they all have the support and participation of Tua Phows.    If you cannot attract Tua Phows to invest heavily into your stock permanently on a recurring basis in tandem with market cycles, no matter how very fundamentally strong you are, your stock cannot rise. If you need proof of that, hasn' t RS been reporting supernormal mega profits for 2 yrs now in 2020 and 2021 ? If good earnings, a strong balance sheet and massive cash reserves by themselves are enough to propel a stock to the Moon, RS will be trading at above $3.00 now. But is it ? Instead, she has lost 69% of her value over the last 15 months whilst reporting those mega profits quarter after quarter. So very obviously, FA alone isn' t enough for a stock to shine. Something else is needed - the X Factor. That X Factor is Tua Phows. Another way to backtest what I just said above is to do this - can you find one stock which is bought and  sold only by retail players with no involvement whatsoever from funds, institutions and high net worth retail investors but yet that stock has been able to rise and rise over the longer term and kept showing higher highs and higher lows or even blasted off to the Moon. We dunno when he will stop playing in this playground but when he stops, those who bought and didnt sell yet or who didnt plan to sell, will get trapped. And so my conclusion is unless and until RS can attract Tua Phows to invest in her in the same way Tua Phows invest in the banks, ST Engrg, Wilmar, Ascendas REIT, Mapletree Industrial Trust, Mapletree Logistics Trust, CapitaLand Investment Ltd, etc.... RS will not be able to shine based on her good FA alone. She can bounce from time to time, yes, due to shortcovering and bargain hunting. Like we have been seeing in the last 15 mths. But she cant shine. After that, we saw a bounce to 1.59. Then the subsquent bounces which came after ended at 1.53, 1.50, 1.34, 1.30, 1.28 and 95 cts. All those people who read my postings and then went on to cut at those levels.....1.59, 1.53, 1.50, 1.34 etc etc....is there any one such person who will today say....." I cut after I read his postings and I really really regret cutting....shouldnt have cut...should have kept my stocks until today to see a New Low at 76 cts" .  Many of you think 76 cts is the bottom.  Where the bottom really is, no one knows today. We will know when she is there. The bottom is reached when there are no sellers left no matter how bad the market is or no matter how bad sentiments are with respect to this stock. And based on what I have seen, I dont think we are at a stage where there are no more sellers left at 76 cts no matter how dreadful the situation is with respect to this stock. So take your pick. If you think 76 cts will hold becoz there are no sellers left and whoever are still standing will rather die than sell, then you decide if you want to count on that and roll the dice. The other question is - when she has reached a stage of no sellers left and she bottoms out, what next ? Will she recover ? She will bounce, yes. But will she recover.
