The investment thesis for this stock is actually very simple - pure SG business and exposure, so no FX risk nor exposure. Cash buffer is strong with more than $3b net cash and free cash flow yield will cover the dividend yield of 5+%. Coming off a low base with reopening of Oceanarium, Weave, etc. Lastly, if you believe in Singapore tourism, then it should/will do well. The win rate for casino will eventually normalize itself if you take a zoomed out long-term view. Catalyst will be if boss decides to do something to unlock the cash by reviewing its balance sheet and capital management strategy. If they follow its MY counterpart, then it should strike a more balanced capital structure. |

Maybe lim decide to another genM stunt on genS. Putting up GO when 50% retail would sell to him and axe out dividend for rest of investors lol. genS is cash cow generating S$500m annually at low gear. MBS would like to grab RWS if possible to max out earning. | ||

Plus this is considered a laggard.... considering STI, and the Dow and the world have passed by, this is still very much sleeping, because of its circumstances, but when people getting richer and richer, they would want to get richer faster...... All the mega stocks in Dow have gone up by few hundred per cent already, and as.they get richer,they want more FASTER, they want to " gamble" for more..... that why Genting NY is precious to Ah Lim..... he is already planning very hard on it.... but where to get MORE money to develop further, to attract more " customers " ? ......he already lost BILLIONS ( his own real money) in Genting HK, he privately said he needs to " earn" them back.....hence his vengeance " mission" Meanwhile in Singapore, many blue chips stocks themselves will be " mega" stocks soon .... the banks, JMH are going towards $100, many like SGX, Har Paw, STE, Veunture, Keppel, IFAST are eyeing 20, 30..... then come the next " level" Club 10-20 , HKL, SingTel, Sembcorp, Capitaland, IFast..... then the " out side" level going into the I side level 10 level, you can watch for HLA, UOBKH, SINGLAND, WILMAR, SIA, YzJSB, Seatrium....., crazy ideas, crash thoughts, but then, juz 5 years go, no body thought about the rise rise of DOW AND NASDAQ MEGA STOCKS.... just one year a go, HLA was $1.60, SINGLAND was below $1.90.......STE was $4plus..... juz think......and think crazy now, this is the year of equities market, ... you put your money in FD, bonds, bank savings, you going to lose to inflation.... you will NEVER GROW YOUR WEALTH.... When the US and other world MEGA monies really really start rolling in...... and they got no else to go, you will find them hunting for stocks like Wilmar, AEM, HLA, UMS, GENTING very very hard....... the moral is why go to the already super expensive, when there are already many good laggards around , UMS, GENTING, WILMAR, CAPITALAND?......you should have gone into HLA, KEPPEL, SINGTEL (when I was shorting at $2.50), years ago..... ' believe or unbelievable, really up to you...... |

So, means this is patience play la.... not for the monkeys to come and turn this into a circus la..... means I only interested in long termers or at least mid termers, not the mercenary opportunists.... but I did give give some interesting figures, one of which is the mafia' s target..... one interesting " news" or rumors, is the company power people are seeking the authorities on a pending development.... that' s all I know, or put it another way, that' s all I can tell...... but I can tell u now, you will not be disappointed with the results numbers...... | ||

Lol STI go up a lot due to only selected few stocks as they contribute a big chuck of sti. It the banks and gic/temasek related stocks that charging sti to 5k. small cap never moved, cos no retail buying and bb only interested in big cap,. I think the 5b fund a lot go into buying up index related product intead of stocks. Sti 10k, and everything remain same except for bank etc... |

Pretty much normal sales during this 4-day contra period. Hence no spike in price or volume, but a steady rise in price despite a slight market downturn. |
