Group 2. ..those who bought SMM at a high price.  They were elated when they subscribed RI 2020 for 20c.  They were uncertain when they subscribed RI 2021 at 8c.  Now they are stressed, perplexed, in despair and crushed.  They tried to put on a brave front by trying to mock Group 1 investors.  Hilarious!

Let us sit back and watch the show from now to Mar 2022.  Holding cash is best.  Holding SMM shares at 8.4c, 8.7c, 30c, etc is not a good situatio

Sembmarine' s board and management need a refresh
I refer to Ben Paul' s article titled " Sembmarine faces a tough week ahead" on Nov 1, 2021.
 
I am a long-time shareholder of Sembmarine, and I have watched with alarm and dismay the fall in its shares - some of which I bought at several dollars each.
 
Looking at the recent strong performance of Keppel O& M, I strongly believe a revitalisation of the board and management of Sembmarine is urgent and necessary. Some of the latter' s board members have been around for a long time.
 
Despite buoyant oil prices and 2 recent massive rights issues, there is still no light at the end of the tunnel. Without an infusion of fresh blood soon into the company, I am afraid it would end up like Neptune Orient Lines.

 Alert Admin 		We are still in Bear territory. Ans being squeezed betweeen 2 prices. A break through either will see a decisive move in coming days. MA 20 is at 8cents MA 50 is at 8.2 cents if we break 0.082 the next price target would possibly be MA100 which stands at 10.4cents With Terp at 12.4 its very likely we move towards these upper levels in the near term. Waiting for March 2022 in equity markets is like waiting for a coconut to drop. No one wastes 6 months waiting for an opportunity, as traders you need to find an opportunity in every kind of market be it in SCM OR Elsewhere. If you are not in this counter because you sold, hoping for lower prices its your call. But trying to spam its price down so you can enter is unethical.

You must have lost a loadful in SCM.

Good points.  Your words are correct.   

Those who bought at 30c were laughing at those who bought at $1.  Those who bought at 20c laughed at those who bought at 30c.

Those who bought at 8c laughed at those who bought at 20c.

As for me, I rather sell, hold cash and see what happens.  SMM is going through uncertain times. Wise to stay out during uncertain time.  There are so many good counters to invest in.  Why SMM?
