Yes this is severely and grossly undervalued, and a fraction of its RNAV. I would buy aggressively at 30cents mark. So waiting for this to sink.

Many say it is undervalued, grossly by some. But the stock has never moved to reflect what people say. I am puzzled. It is a small player anyway. There are better and bigger ones. |

They only need to sell one of their commercial or property assets, or launch their Batam mega-development, and the market will love this again. Or to do a REIT, or promise to pay higer dividends.  Problem is right now - they are doing nothing to reduce gearing and debt, enter into large foreign projects (Batam, Hainan), and keep making lower profits as these land purchases are idling.  Think maybe the CEO may want to prove himself to his family, but unfortunately, he may not be as good as his Father or Brother-in-Law (the former CEO David?).  So, maybe time for big minority shareolders (like the Kohs?) to ask him to step aside, for a better candidate either externally or internally.  Will the market give him another chance? He has been there for a long time and no results, share price wise.

sadly, interest of minority shareholders are always trumped by those with more shareholdings.

Can just politely raise and put up for their kind consideration - why should the company retain a CEO who cannot maximise shareholders value by growth in the share price? Surely, this must be a KPI of any CEO?  Or just ask frankly, is growth in share price a KPI of the current CEO, and if so, does this mean that the CEO has failed to meet the KPI???  If the CEO cannot meet this important KPI, then should the company not put in place another CEO who can maximise shareholder value???

Actually, it is quite an embarrassment for the current CEO and TS that the market cap of TS is trading at less than one-third that of Oxley, which is already an undervalued property counter, and Oxley has only 10 years of history compared to 40 or more for TS.  Some more, TS has so-called crown jewel hotel and commercial properties..

Sell assets can indeed realize at least 70c per share! But what' s their incentive to do that unless they are cashing out? They don' t care about the share price unless it is low enough for them to do a lowball buyout of all of us.

Should just sell assets and reduce debt. They do not have a big residential inventory so residential property price not the big issue for TS.

Debt is a concern, net debt $1.5B. Just isssued another $200M bonds. Developers in general are struggling. Completed and unsold units continue to flood the market, with new units being built rubbing the wounds.   |
