Asia Markets will be the first reactions to the US President and Senate Races. Priority No.1: We need a clear winner, no matter who wins. And when I mean clear = The President and his Party (Republican or Democrats) must take the White House and Senate. Any distortion in that result will lead to more gridlock = Trump (President) vs Democrats (Senate) OR Biden (President) vs Republicans (Senate)

Recurrent cost savings of 1.7 cents per annum or $30mil per annum. Assuming PE of 15 times, it would translate to increase in valuation of 25 cents ___________ Sembcorp Industries&rsquo wholly-owned subsidiary Sembcorp Financial Services has, on Oct 27, issued a notice of redemption to the holders of the bonds who have elected to redeem and prepay, on Nov 10, 2020, all the outstanding bonds at their principal amount together with unpaid interest accumulated to the redemption date. The notice was issued as part of the ongoing optimisation of Sembcorp Financial Services&rsquo debt portfolio. Sembcorp Financial Services will also be paying a one-time break funding cost to each bondholder who has submitted a claim, in connection with the redemption of the bonds. Sembcorp Financial Services says it intends to fund the redemption price through a mix of drawdowns under its credit facilities and cash. The refinancing is expected to achieve annual interest cost savings of approximately $25 million to $35 million. Shares in Sembcorp Industries closed 6 cents higher or 4.1% up at $1.54 on Oct 27. |

Sembcorp Industries did share buyback again the 4th day in a row , buying back 550,000 shares @1.6264 in 4 days the company bought back more than 2 millions shares . Fantastic if the company continue to buy back shares 550,000 shares in one month the company will buy back 16.5 millions. The company can buy back 10% of its shares in one year i.e.35,711,498 shares. Temasek controls about 50% of sembcorp shares if take in other major shareholder holdings there will very little shares left in retail investors. The share price has only one way to go that is up. If you hold long enough you will reap big profit down the road. The conclusion is just hold and buy more if you have money. Where to find such wonderful counter. So far semcorp is the best performing on SGX. Rising almost 50% in about 2 months since demerger on 11/9 when the price starts at 1.0. congratulation to those holding sembcorp shares. |
