I will take the two earnings reporting dates as guide.
In between is trading. Since the last earnings reported was good..Riverstone cheong up till the peak..Then it is reverse..And the reverse is down all the way. But this fall will stop. It is a matter of guess when this fall will end. Buying at the bottom is the hardest to do..Needs capital..Lots of army and lots of backup. You are fighting a war when you may lose an occasional battle but ultimately it is the war you want to win. Sometimes I know I am losing the battle as my paper losses accumulate but I know my backup keeps fighting to win. Now for Riverstone. The reversal is imminent. But I can't tell when. Remember you are at war. NO mercy |

If 1.25 breaks and you see the price freefall, cut. If 1.25 holds and you see a bounce, follow the bounce up and wait for it to fizzle out first. Then cut. That is if you want to cut and your question is WHEN to cut. Having said that, cutting a losing position to take a loss is part and parcel of this game. Take it in your stride. In this game, you are a General. Your capital is your army. If you cut, what' s left of your army will return to base to report to you for their next assignment. My recommendation is dont send your men to fight their next battle in another medical stock again. A question was asked...." What if COVID stocks have peaked?" and it got me thinking. Ya, what if the Last High we saw was the mountain top and that' s it...these stocks having descended from the mountain..they are never gonna go back up there again ? Then chiak lard. Then really shake head. So for the next battle, choose a good one for your men. Lead them well and wait for ground conditions to be favourable before you send them out to fight again. The legendary ancient Chinese General Sun Tzu said... " A winning General understands what conditions must be present for victory, waits for those conditions to be present, then orders his troops into battle to seize the opportunity. A losing General orders his troops to charge into the battlefield without an understanding of what is needed to win, then seeks to achieve victory by fighting his way out." Plan your next battle. Understand what the set up for your chosen stock is and wait for it to appear. Then order your men into battle and seize victory and bring home the bacon. .

Everyone will give you contradicting advices. All of us have different positions / interests. At the end of the day, you still have to be the one to decide. Here, best to exchange info, not ask for advice. But personally, as an investor, I would you ask you back, " Is there other counter that can give you better return?" And if yes, you may want to consider cutting (all / half / portion). You have to consider Opportunity Costs as well. If no, then you may choose to stay put, or like some other investors - add on to average down. Not my favourite thing to do though. But to each it' s own. As long as the strategy works, stick with it. Best of luck.

Around 0.845 followed by 0.65. But as of now, it is premature to see that far. The battle is now being fought at the 1.25 region. If holders dig their foot in and dont sell, 1.25 will hold and shortists will read the signal and cover. If shortcovering is fierce, it can ignite buying from bargain hunters. And we will see a small bounce. But dont get carried away. If no monkey is back in the driver' s seat, this bounce, if it comes, will fizzle out shortly. Resistance at 1.42 remains an obstacle.

Bonus shares mean more liquidity, more shares to trade, higher share volumes. Cheaper shares to buy. Many stocks have split their shares to make it more affordable for retailers 1 lot.. if dbs and the banks did the same, they sure have more buyers from retail

sgvale, it gives you a hi-5. for that i bought 5 lots but not at 1.25 ' cos it is only for my eyes to see only. at first i thought increasing the no of shares will dilute the price. someone very kind, asked me a leading question and i did a check. boh lei bonus share don' t dilute the share. the management and ceo so sweet and has been buying for the last 2 days. malaysia boleh with their epf in this coy. till today hor, every countries still trying to find solution for dengue ..... dengue already there for sooooo loooooong still no solution. i think must find solution in the one that created the mosquito lah. imho |

 This is her Daily Chart. A previous resistance-turned-support level can be found at around $1.25. If she can find support at this region and bottoms out and U-Turn back up and this triggers shortcovering by shortists and follow-through buying by bargain hunters, then we may get a good bounce. But whether a recovery rebound or just a technical dead cat bounce remains to be seen. But if this former resistance-turned-support fails to hold, it will trigger the stop loss of traders and short term investors. The next meaningful support, which is another previous resistance-turned-support is at $1.00. Of course it wont be a good sign if she goes there. So the next chapter of this story is important. Does she want to do a BLUE line ? Or RED line ? Hearing continues...

As mentioned in my previous post, I only own RS now (or balance). I would humbly like to consider myself quite diversified too, owning various stocks from various sectors, from SG to HK to the US. So don't worry for me on that area.

I am not comparing.
It just reminded me of recent development in MT which I was part of not too long ago.
Plus MT CEO did not own any single share until he bought that 1M, personally.
How RS is playing out now is quite similar to what I experienced back then, and I am experiencing the same now again.
Just hoping RS doesn't develop into similar storyline.

I look at the chart, it appears to be this is the second bottom and bullish The first bottom hit 1.27 and close at 1.28 This second bottom did not touch 1.27 but touch 1.28 only at end of day. There are many shortists waiting to buy below 1.28 and I don' t think they will get it. Also cannot compare this company with others when major share holders buy back. |
