U are talking another 20% drop ....for our STI . Just base on slower GDP growth ...which is nothing new. On the opposite .....China might come out by then and more so it could be a better second half. sorry nothing strong argument to bring it to 2k.

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak on Thursday said OPEC and non-OPEC producers are considering a 5% output cut, according to Russian state news agency TASS. Novak cautioned that it's "too early" to call anything a concrete agreement.
A spokesperson for Russia's energy minister told CNN there is no formal date for the meeting or an official invitation yet. However, the spokesperson confirmed there are discussions taking place. Talk of a coordinated output cut excited the oil markets. Crude oil prices briefly soared 7% on Thursday, trading as high as $36.28 a barrel. But oil prices have since retreated a bit, recently sinking below $35 a barrel. teeth53 thot - Rusdia world biggest oil producer who produced 10 mil barrel a day by just talking alone of 5% cut translated into more then 10% boost in oil pruces.

Next week SSE should some upside i guess. Because now markets will be looking for china easing after BOJ and ECB.. Bought some SSE warrants today for CNY... After CNY, another round of selling may come.. What FED is going to do with all these easing coming? May be QE4 in this 2016.

Frankly and neutrally - a lot of reasonably good results and dividends have been declared for our SGX counters over the past few days. At least the ones I'm tracking. Long term and income investors should be heartened :) | ||||
