Looks like the variants of the virus is spreading faster than vaccinations can cope. Quote:

Current vaccines like can tahan a bit longer, but if there were no vaccines, it could have been 14.4mil new cases a week, instead of 4.4mil, and in no time, the whole world, except a few countries with good medicals and compulsory safety measures, would hv been hopelessly infected.
Hope current situation don' t lead to circuit breakers being introduced again lah. otherwise think garmen would hv difficulty to support, as reserves cannot be unlimited mah.

Few kongsies would be able to survive, except the likes of Medtecs and Top Gloves, not even SIA, SPH or Singtel or Keppel.

JERUSALEM: The coronavirus variant discovered in South Africa can " break through" Pfizer-BioNTech' s COVID-19 vaccine to some extent, a real-world data study in Israel found, though its prevalence in the country is low and the research has not been peer reviewed.
