My take on their 1Q2024
1. Key Profit Before Tax of S$11.32 Million in 1Q2024 Surpasses FY2023&rsquo s Profit Before Tax of S$10.82 Million (recognised one-time gain of S$5.83 million from land sale in 1Q2024, which means core profit before is about S$5.5 million and assuming BKM gets 50% of the profit, their core is about S$2m+ in JUST 1Q2024)...if we take about S$2m for next 3 quarters, it will be S$8m profit before tax for FY2024). Based on mkt cap of S$36m now...PE is about 4.5 times...
2. Gross Profit Surged 208.0% to S$9.79 Million (good control on cost)
3. Organic Revenue Growth of 113.1% to S$28.63 Million (shows business is booming and sustainable)
4. Cash and cash equivalents increased to S$14.11 million, while total borrowings reduced to S$9.14 million as at 31 March 2024 (shows their deleveraging efforts and focus on strengthing their cash position)

Beng Kuang Marine : BEZ 0% has a new substantial shareholder, AGT Partners, a local fund that adopts value-driven strategies, focusing on bottom-up stock picking with an emphasis on long-term growth appreciation. As at Apr 22, Ginko-AGT Global Growth Fund directly owned 11,145,000 shares in the company, representing 5.56 per cent of the outstanding shares of Beng Kuang Marine.

$Beng Kuang(BEZ.SI) The company' s division - ASOM currently serves 24 FPSOs out of 186 FPSOs and is looking to expand into China, South America and Southeast Asia.
Do note that there will be more FPSO out in the market in the next few years due to the significant demand during the crazy 100 dollars per barrel period. ASOM will have the opportunity to earn more.
