(See also: Ezra Holdings files for US bankruptcy) At the time of announcement, Ezra' s founder and chairman Lionel Lee Chye Tek holds a 9.9% stake in Loyz through Jit Sun Investments. Lionel is also the brother of Adrian Lee, the non-executive director of Loyz and its former managing director. In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, Loyz says the group' s bank loans amounting to US$22.6 million ($31.6 million) as at Dec 31 2016 are secured by its Thailand concessions and include a corporate guarantee by Jit Sun. The bank loans also constituted 59% of Loyz' s unaudited net book value as at end Dec, adjusted for the placement exercise undertaken by the company which was completed on March 17. Loyz says the bank loans have been restructured with financial institutions to better match cash inflows with the principal and interest repayments and the company has met all the payment obligations of its bank loans punctually and does not foresee any issue in meeting its payment obligations. In addition, nothing has come to Loyz' s attention that Jit Sun will not continue to provide the corporate guarantee for the bank loans and the group has also received assurances from the financial institutions that in the event that there are any breaches on the terms and conditions of the banks loans in relation to Jit Sun, the financial institutions are prepared to consider " waiving such breaches on a case-by-case basis" . Finally, Loyz says the group does not have any business and financial dealings with Ezra. " The group is in a different business sector from Ezra. The group is an independent exploration and production upstream energy company with its focus in the Asia-Pacific region," says Loyz, " This is different from Ezra who is an offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the global oil and gas industry." Shares of Loyz last traded at 2 cents.

This means Ezra fewer has spread to Loyz as well. How many companies it will take with it before going down? Of course Loyz is also majority owned by Lionel family which controls Jitsun Holdings and it is the same people eventhough it is another business. I feel sorry for Loyz.

Of course Loyz is also majority owned by Lionel family which controls Jitsun Holdings and it is the same people eventhough it is another business. I feel sorry for Loyz.
