XR Semb as expected aro the 25c level ... Pre demerger SCI book is 3.20 , SCM is aro 95c ..........the amt distributed as SCM shares is aro 1.05 ( 4300x0.245) It is certainly asking much for SCI to trade below $1 as some stated here ...which is below 50% orf its P/BK ratio True if overall market do get very bad in the next 20day s.....any thing is possible if not ..... 1. New SCI is a profitable company w Energy n Infrastuture 2. Energy companies trade normally higher than this valuation as its a cash generating machine /India operation need much energy n potential listin g 3. Wind n other clean energy is a great potential for SCI 4. Less debt now and dont hv to carry the lost of SCM every qtr Awaiting patiently .....DYODD Happy investing. |

SCI will not trade just at 90cts. If the market price of SCI is not adjust accordingly, after XE, SCI will still trade near 1.4 range (near 0.8 P/B). Also given that there are still so much short sell position, these sellers will have to buy back sooner or later before XE, this can only push SCI prices up. Target price b4 XE still intact at $2.28 (My recommendation)

Yes, best to hold long. The grand plan is not executed yet. Previously tried to earn fast money on other counters but missed out on more returns $$$ if held longer

With SCM ex-rights price of 24.5cts, SCI is being theoretically priced around 90 cts? Dirt cheap indeed. An easy 30% profit margin in store.

SCI wl surpass $2 mark soon.....with the demerger and distribution of SMM shares in place. After this, can look fwd the Indian IPO which wl not be far fetched. Cheers |

Temasek surprised the market yesterday by withdrawing its partial offer for Keppel which if completed, would see Temasek becoming a 51% owner of Keppel. With that offer being withdrawn, Temasek&rsquo s stake in Keppel will remain at roughly 20% for now. With Temasek now becoming the single largest shareholder of Sembcorp Marine, with the potential of its stake crossing the 50% threshold, it might not be long before a full privatization of Sembcorp Marine materializes Such a corporate action will not be done in solo, but to likely make an offer to buy out Keppel O& M division to combine them into a larger entity. |
