x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Even if their prime focus is on SCI, TH would at the very least try to get back their investment in SCM, regardless of it being a sunset industry. Either they go it alone with SCM or try to get a better price by packaging it together with KOM. TH is not going to sit by the side and let SCM go bankrupt so easily and quickly. (i.e slide 50% over the next 1 to 2yrs..rebound 10 to 20% on merger news after)

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	KC has been divesting for quite some time now..to have less reliance on its o& g unit..it probably acknowledged that it is a sunset industry..hence they proactively seeked other revenue sorces.. personally, i think KC board was uninterested in Temasek having majority withink KC, as the last thing they need is more Offshore units (from SMM), hence they opted to declare all impairments in the last quarter.. they could always declare those impairments at a later date.. dealingroom88      ( Date: 22-Sep-2020 16:53) Posted: KC with o&g under its belt also suffering.
